These bring back so many wonderful memories, childhood experiences, adventures, and fun! Those nights 7pm-9pm watching 📺TV📺 and seeing your favorite show coming up, or a new toy being produced, or a new movie? It was all about expectations, the build up to seeing your entire family, and just having fun! I lost my family. Cancer and Emphysema and those Christmases without them especially the first one, they were not easy. But the memories that these commercials bring back were great and as you said, very comforting. God Bless You and your family.

Christmas in July? Oh yeah! I grew up in the 70's and 80's. The 70's I was a little kid, kindergarten, grade school, toys. In the 80's middle school, High School, driver's education, driver's license, my first car. In 83 I was a freshman. So from 80- the first half of 83 I was still a "kid" lol. Those days were pretty good. I had some BAD times, some really bad times. But the decade itself, it was fun! I went back to my home city. It is a shell of what it was. Everything is either torn down, changed, demolished, or just sits empty and desolate. So many hangouts are gone. Where I lived, we usually had a White Christmas🎄 snowy🌨fun❄ days. 🛷Sledding,🛷 tobogganing🛷, 🎿skiing🎿, building⛄☃️snowmen⛄☃️⛄, 🏈🏉football🏉🏈 games in the snow were always EPIC! These commercials remind me of times that were far more simple, more laid back, but hard working. Times where you could trust your kids outside after 5pm. The 41-Twin Drive-in 🎥 Theater was our favorite place as a kid. The 24-Outdoor was another Drive-in 🎥 Theater we'd go to if they had a specific movie. They had a massive park type playground. 😳🤯For a kid🤯😳it was YAHOO! SWINGS! SLIDES! Those animals that you'd ride on that went back and forth, boingy boingy boingy boingy boingy! It was just plain FUN! The Drive-in Theater closed by us in October usually. I do remember hoping they'd do a Halloween thing during October. Boy those days were fun! But Christmas🎄 THAT WAS THE BEST! No matter what, Mom, Dad, Grandma, & Grandpa were together. Even the weeks heading into Christmas🎄 was great. The awesome "CBS Special Presentation". Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Frosty the☃️Snow⛄☃️Man⛄, A Charlie Brown Christmas, and a few other shows. The JCPenney's and Sears wishbook or Christmas🎄Catalogs were always a huge focus. Toy's gimmick the toy section.....lol. It was just the best time to be alive!
