off topic a little but, i miss snowboarding SO much... imagine going that fast or faster with no motor or handlebars. moved from Alaskan mtns to north GA mtns where it dont snow, got me looking at this thing now...

If you have not ridden a escooyer befor do not buy this, or any other fast scooter. If you want a decently fast scooter I suggest that you get the E move Cruise the scooter has pretty much the best of everything up to 60 mile range and 30 miles an hour top speed it's also one of the highest rating waterproof e-scooters out there for around $1,400 if you want to start out somewhat fast that's what I suggest you get these things like this will kill you

I was wanting a weped until i saw the price tag so i believe ill either get the zondoo roadhitter or the obarter
I have an outstorm Maxx Pro Plus its a step down from this and is very capable offroad. I think this is a little underpowered for its weight but it looks super fun on road.
Theyre ALL great fun arent they Iridium. No complaints from me but i only do about 10 k's per week as i use it for going to the supermarket but use it across the grass and slight off road. Its faster than using my car for he same journey by heaps, and at peak hour times its unknown how much time and frustration we save by using our scoots. Wish they were around when i was a kid. Now im olde and living out my childhood years nowdays, WITH SCOOT.

U should read the voltage meter to know where ur battery life is. 60v shut off at 47-48 volts. Max is 67.2

50 miles plus is just insanely AWESOME range and that's with hills, you need some serious dedication to travel that far on a scooter 👍🇬🇧🤠🤟

most accurate way to read the batterys power level is the volt meter which should be on the smaller displayh
I have the same scooter. I believe the voltage may not be calibrated right in the controller thus why it shows the battery depletes quicker. Like its setup for 72v and not 60. But the lack of acceleration is terrible and i usally only ride 20 miles before chargeing as riding in stop and go traffic can be scary when voltage drops and you cant accelerate with the rest of traffic

thinking of getting a scooter for the first time this year... i like my e-bike, but people here are not very friendly towards ebikes on the street.. even if said e-bike is doing the speed limit. lol so something for local commuting to/from work and gym would be handy and have enough oomph to annoy these people more would be nice.

I did and it's bumpy when going over 15 - 20 mph, I really haven't found a scooter that can handle off road, I don't think we're there yet

Always use the voltage meter the battery lcd is crap and is a Lie, the only downfall I would see to this is it has a true li-ion battery, LG, Panasonic, or other high in battery's, if not the battery will loose its max distance much faster, my wolf warrior pro has a LG 28ah battery and can do 45 miles and 49mph flat ground, very cool scooter but man I thoigh mine was heavy at 80lbs. Lol

forgot to mention i have a 60v 40ah scooter and i get over 55 miles easy. so that scooter with 60ah battery can get well more than 55 miles of range
I think the Obarter X7 and Teverun Fighter Supreme 7260r are the two have 60AH which is most battery on a scooter? I still want this
Never tried the Teverun but this one for me had the biggest battery by far

If you keep pressing the headlight button, it should dim the lights if I remember correctly

Yeah that's the fastest, it's a heavy machine so I think that's why it's capped at around 50

That's not good speed considering what it has. My scooter is 52 V 23.4 amp hour with two 1000 W Motors and it goes 43 mph. That thing must weigh a freaking ton
only problem is that it only carries 120kg

Acceleration looks very slow
It's not the fastests, it's got a bunch of weight to haul, that being said, it can still get up and go

Hi there. I just purchased the Obarter X3 and i am stoked with it. It has 2x 1200 motors and has a 45% degree hill climb ability. Im old dude now i turned 65 on Xmas Day and decided to buy a scoot, my only experience being on a LIME rent a scoot. Im already considering an X5 Obarta. Obartas are made under several names, same scoot, diff brand name./ I went to their site and read that they will put your own decals on if you wish and if you buy a few. I think Dana White should buy some and whack the UFC decals on it and sell it in his merch shop. Would you be so good as to explain to me exactly what PO means in the settings, wheel diameter, but what does that entail or mean, and also P3, Speed sensor function. I have cruise control activated and also prefer a kick start, i can see problems with the other start, esp if you, or someone hits the accelerator trigger by mistake. I notice that P5 says Start with or without kick, so how does P7 tie in with that, or doesnt it? Im in New Zealand and its an ideal Scoot country. Commonwealth cuzzies and Allies, its really sad watching that ning-com-poop commie destroying your country, we just got our Klaus Schwab puppet to hand her notice in, thank you Lord, she was detestable, and the damage her failed policies did will affect Kiwiville for many years to come. I think I ran through the P settings in the review towards the end that might help ya out. I know there's some settings you don't wanna change
I have an Obarter X3 myself, modded a few parts out of it (controllers, lights), BUT my biggest complaint is the swingarms
since they're custom to the Obarter you can't fit other ones, and most other china scoots have straight swingarms which is good cuz they have 125mm shocks
Obarter X3 has 100mm shocks which means you can only use shitty cheap spring shocks like the original ones
you won't be able to upgrade it to hydraulic or air suspension cuz it's too small
i hate my decision to buy an Obarter X3! shouldve bought a Laotie ES18 Lite, same power, bigger battery, ability to fit better shocks, working fender (Obarter X3 fender sucks, you'll be fully splashed by rain)
also you should take apart the suspension part asap and grease the bolts/rods where the shock is on cuz the shocks wear very quickly

@@BH4x0r Thanks for the info. I might take your advice but i do like the D5 Obarter as well. I dont use the scoot much, down to the shops and a 5 k return trip to the chemist 3 times a week. Im an old dude now so i also dont thrash the hell out of it. 30 kph which is about 20 mph give or take is my max, takes too long to heal at my age. I will take your advice re the pics, ty for that. This is my first scoot so you gotta start somewhere. I have 600 k's on the clock and dont ride in the rain but I think I shall get a new one, perhaps the Laotie you suggested, but unless you have heard anything bad about the D5, it sort of has the front running for me at this juncture. The indicator lights didnt work unless manually done, then the whole light gave out, only a $30 fix but the warranty of 12 months took care of that and the horn arrived disconnected, when you manually put the wires on, it was a great horn, but now wont work at all, no doubt a crimping is in order. The headlights are great, they are $50 each at our local auto store so Obarter didnt scrimp on $ there. Thanks man, very helpful and i shall keep your pics.
@@CRAIG5835 the D5 doesn't suffer the same unupgradable fate as the X3, back when i bought it only the X1 X3 and X5 were available
The rear light works perfectly in my case, albeit i run the indicators and rear light from a different step down converter which also powers a 5V stepdown converter
i replaced the original side leds with a digital rgb led strip (can do different colors per led) which is controlled by the Arduino, they get 5V from the 5V stepdown converter cause the original ledstrips just flash different colors which is kinda illegal in my country
now it just does have on the front end a white led, then orange leds till the end and the last led is red, so you can see the direction
the orange leds flash normal brightness and brighter during indicator use, and the back indicators are also controlled by the Arduino to flash
I replaced the front light with a Busch & Müller IQ-XL, mounted at the handlebars so i can have a wide beam light that shines far, illuminating the road, without blinding other vehicles (kind of like car low beams) cause the original light was more like a spot beam shining in people's eyes when it was set to shine far
as i said i did quite a few mods, only the frame, battery, motors etc are original
