This ship and the tech tree EU DDs feel like they're much stronger within a mixed-class division. They make excellent spotters and are great at zoning out pushes through channels, and with cruiser or aircraft support they can make ships burn their dcp early on.
Hey Xarkun thanks for the great video, keep up the great work! In this video you mentioned that this premium destroyer isn’t suited for people who aren’t well versed in destroyer play. I’m personally just getting into destroyers and I was curious what premium destroyers you’d recommend checking out to get the hang of the role. Thank you and take care!
Yeah I was kind of trying to see what the differences between T8 Oland on PC and T6 Oland on Legends is. But it didn’t seem like much was very different aside from gun range. Torps on Oland here can go 12km at least
Nice vid, M’Lord ! If my numbers are correct, the Tier-7 Ostergotland should be able to reach something crazy like 90-knot Torps with a maximized Stig, inspired by Fishy ! Crazy 😏
Acording to Hipper, it is pronounced wooland, and she is supposed to be a tier higher then skone (at least on PC she is). SHe seems to be a top quality tier 6 DD, that provides a rather unique gameplay. Very interesting indeed. She will be put on my future aquisitions list.
@@Xarkun indeed, one is two dots, the other is a slanty line. Both are diacritics, so in practice they do the same job to help with pronunciation of vowels. Nice review by the way, I might treat myself!
Öland well idk how to describe the pronunciation. It's like you put your mouth and toung into the position of pronouncing an O and instead you try to make the sound of an I. Dunno how else I can describe it to an English speaking person sry 😅
It's pronounced Uh-land (wovel-sound as in 'Earl' or 'earn'). Your third attempt sounded pretty good! :D

Another good review video Xarkun ✌
It's a pretty tanky boat, I really enjoy it

The kamikaze is an amazing ship. The T61 is solid at tier 5
i would probably say the russian Leningrad is also pretty good not bad torps or guns. good for a tier 6.
@@monkemonke2905 im a dd main and cant stand the lenningrad much
Tier 8 and 9 Ostergotland is the sweet spot on PC. U can torp radar cruisers with 13.5 klm torps thats how u help u team

Hipper is danish, i am swedish. It's pronounced Uh-land (wovel-sound as in 'Earl' or 'earn') :D
@@ConfuzenWorks he said both. It's just a little hard to explain the exact sound...
@@babad1 No it's not, I just did :D
@@ConfuzenWorks and it's a good thing, because I couldn't. Now everybody can say it right.
3rd try is pretty damn close. I'm not swedish, but Danish, so pretty damn close:)
I probably pronounced it a different way every time I said it in this video. I don’t know. But thank you for the encouragement! 😁
No one gonna talk about how he used def as with his as turned off? Lol
Woo-hoo first comment and first like I rule
It’s an umlaut not an accent. Just sayin….
Is an umlaut considered to be something separate from an accent? I honestly have no idea. Pronouncing stuff correctly is a struggle sometimes.
