These were good tips. I scored some free points when I borrowed a movie from the library. Most times either the library or someone else would remove all the inserts. I couldn’t believe no one had redeemed it considering it was such an old movie.
Thank You. Nice find with the freebee. I once snagged one for free from a thrift shop. I opened a case and the disc was missing, but the code was still in it. I offered to pay a little for the code and they decided to just give it to me instead.
Yes, you can only enter 1 code from one movie per format per DMI rules. If they discover you have entered, for example, 20 codes for 20 dvd copies of Peter pan, they will remove all those codes from your account with no warning.
Yes, sometimes spacing it out will work, but generally I have found that having a slightly different version is what most consistent. I did discover though that Disney movie insider didn't remember what codes were used on the old Disney rewards system. So you can start all over with the cheap crappy ones that you can find at pawn shops everywhere.
@@jesterscorner879 yes we have a place here when you can buy books by the pound and DVDs for $2. I go there a lot if I just need a few codes. Right now I’m short 1 code to get the big thing I’ve been wanting on rewards page but haven’t had time run up there so I’m patiently waiting.
I've looked at my local thrift shops but the selection hasn't been very good and they generally run $2-$3 per DVD instead of the 75 cents per disc average I have been getting from pawn shops. All depends on your local area though so they are all worth looking into.
Even though I do everything that you’ve said. I’m still going to leave the lake because yeah. I would do that. Take photos of the reward codes. The reason is because I don’t want them to think I’m stealing the actual disc. But I guess that’s a shady option as well because of my nearest savers, they always take out the codes before putting it on the floor.
Not a fan of that method. Screws over the person who buys the DVD and has a bunch of useless codes. I pull all the codes sheets after I use them so the next person who looks at the movie can move on if they want points.
@@jesterscorner879 they’re not supposed to be in there if they are used movies. So I don’t see anything wrong with it if you’re at a store that sells used movies.

Very true although you can do different versions of the same movie (ie special edition vs regular or DVD vs Blu Ray.)
You can also find Disney DVD s at yard sales with the codes still good my daughter does this
Agreed. That is another good source.
Most of the time even two exact movies will work just spaced out when entered.

I do this at goodwill. Check for ones with the codes and buy those

You don’t need to buy them though just look and if you find a code use it
is the code for DMI the same as Disney Movie Club? I have seen codes on DVDs but not DMI codes
Yes, all the points carried over. Sadly we just got word that it's shutting down so use your points now.

Merry Christmas! 🎄 ✝️
Asking a question 🙋♂️ dose it cost real money really take money form bank account too
No. They just charge you points from your Disney Movie Insider Balance. Keep an eye out for free codes as they generally have at least 2 per month.
i have a question 🙋♂️ do u have to make an account to earn rewards because i kinda don’t want to put my address in 😂😅
Yes, you will need to put in your address for most awards to be sent to you anyways.
i work at a goodwill so i could just go in the back and snap every code 😂🤭
You could.
YOOO SAME! i do that every time i go to a thrift shop lol. 🤣🤣🤣
besides it’s like unofficially getting paid for your work man lol.
@@cqntralls lol fr i spend a lot of money at goodwill so this is a way of evening it out
i always go to savers and take pics of the codes without even buying the dvd / blu ray 😭🤣🤣
