There is a company that sells a ball bearing conversion CHRA for the TD04, wonder of that would be easier to do and get even faster spool out of it.
You are doing well.....dropping C clip pliers on top of precision made compressor wheel! 11:48. Heat shield or shroud for the plate you are not sure of name. The nut tightens against direction of rotation so no need for locktight.

Did you get a step gap ring for this guy? I spent a rediculous amount of time sourcing a step ring for this guy and so far so good.

@@BCInnovate Just noticed that you didn't use a step gap ring. It's the final metal ring you put on the shaft of the hot side turbine.
I did put a ring on the exhaust side
just came over for Auto Autopsy, do they make similar upgrade kits for the 03-05 saab 9-5 turbos?
Yes I would have to research what turbo is on that car but definitely always upgrades

Yes it does!
In general this a stock Turbo X turbo with stock cartridge and upgraded turbines and just bored out housing?
It's bigger wheel on compressor side and less blades on turbine but it's bigger wheel than TX wheel

Yes it will!
That turbo compressor housing is totally gone, I cant find one with proper diverter valve and proper mounting for the wastegate actuator
I machine the housing to fit the wheel

Yes you must machine the chra and housing to fit correctly
