Жалко, что были и российские препараты. На последней Олимпиаде российские спортсмены доказали, что они лучшие даже без запрещенных наркотиков, какого ненужного позора можно было бы избежать.

After 5 years, I decided to recall this legend. I was in Sochi the day after the opening, it is a pity that I could not get on the opening day. Russia it was magnificent, large-scale and loud. The best Olympics.
Who is watching in 2018? My favority and emotional part was when tolstoi, dostoievski gogol and the rest of wonderful writers appeared... such a legacy to the entery world... beautiful and perfect.

I've seen this like 5 times and I always cry when the bear cries, the music in that part is insanely emotional and I love it
yes. It's the music and lyrics from the 1980 Summer Olympics, where they sent "Our gentle mishka" up to the skies. He had a short cameo in the this video, once the melody started.
Likewise, even after all these years. Very touching scene as the bear blows out the flame altogether. I just wish they'd upload a version without the commentary in the background.

The most beautiful closing ceremony ever (Other than Moscow 1980). The song they choose for where the bear is blowing out the torch is an old Soviet classic and it was the best song possible to use (other than the song used in the closing ceremony in Moscow in 1980). The bear crying is such an amazing and somber thing to us Russians (including myself) and it is a callback to the 1980 Moscow Olympics. That crying bear always makes me cry.

When the bear cries after extinguishing the flame it's a beautiful callback to the end of the 1980 Moscow Summer Games when mascot Misha shed a single tear for the departure of his new friends as the games came to a close.

Russia opening and closing for the Olympics was so awesome I really wish I went to Sochi for the Olympics - it showed how creative Russians are even if there were a load of problems a lot of people encountered :P Beautifiul I really wish I was there

So many great things about this ceremony! The athletes entering the stadium is one of my favorite parts. I love how some are talking and hanging out with athletes from other nations. I am sure some have left the games with brand new friends!
The organization of all performances was brilliant! The most touching moment was with bear participation!

I think the most surreal and tearful moment was when the pianist played No. 2 piano concerto in the centre, then the ballests gracefully danced to Scheherazade, and finally all the granded writers in the Russia history came up with the music of Masquerade Suite. It brought everything there, vivid and tangible. Just no more effort needs to be made to let people approve how great the Russian culture is as one contribution of the human history, it would be their problem if they failed to admit it.

Foram as melhores olimpíadas de inverno de Sochi na Rússia, tanto na abertura dos jogos como no encerramento. As únicas coisas que notei foi na hora que os bailarinos formaram os cinco anéis olímpicos, o último se igualou aos quatro de forma surpreendente. Diferentemente da abertura que não aconteceu isso. Os russos guardaram a surpresa para o final dos jogos olímpicos de inverno de 2014.

you don't know how long i have been wanting to see the piano sequence of this ceremony. NBC cut it from their show and such. I had no idea this channel was here, its currently four in morning where I am currently. this has made my night or morning.

The most magnificent winter games so far. I had a problem with one narrator drowning out the ceremony though. He was yelling all over the entire ceremony, drowning out the music especially, which was annoying. Other than that; Hot and Cold, you Sochi, Russia. Love you.
