@Nova Fire Yeah, no the Iraqis failed to take their second largest city to ISIS, think about that. Iraq used to be a powerful country pre-1991 but afterwards it became backwards.

We were able to liberate our land with our blood, and we have no lethal and powerful weapons. Do not underestimate ISIS, because their fight is not systematic. They are nothing more than gangs of murderers, criminals, whose fighting style is deception, explosions, booby-traps and ambushes. You have to understand that. You do not know anything about Iraq and its people. We are simple people, most of us are poor. We suffer injustice, tyranny, oppression and deprivation. We do not have powerful technology and lethal weapons. Our weapons are our blood, and despite all of this we have been able to prove to the world that we can face the difficulties and dangers that we constantly face .. I am Iraqi, so I am proud
I've watched all the videos of IS concerning this battle, aswell as Iraqi Army footage, including some documentaries published here on YT.
This campaign was really one of the most brutal, destructive and ugly urban battles of modern times. I hope that Mosul will find peace and prosperity again. May God have mercy on the civilians and innocents that were killed on BOTH sides.
Me too. It took IS (400-700 fighters) 4 days to take the city from iraqi forces. And it took Iraqi golden devision, army shia militias supported by coalition forces (air support), french special forces and peshmerga puppets 10 months to take the ruins back. Its crazy.

The circles represent certain events. The Ak-47s represent engagements for example.
