I think you can create virtual machines and install datanodes on them.

Hi Muhammad, please check if you have the 3.1.3 version, as version 2 has different port numbers and also check if u have correctly given the hadoop-namenode in windows hosts file

@ first ip address will be master's IP then others slave's IP addresses of local lan if you are connecting through lan
