Palisades Tahoe Aerial Views: The Palisades With Run Names

Fly along with us on an overview flight of the Palisades located on the Palisades side of Palisades Tahoe. The high-exposure chutes off Palisades have been featured in many classic ski movies. You can enjoy the action in real life by watching from below or from the lift as top skiers and riders drop into dicey, no-fall chutes like Chimney and Main. If you’re brave enough to give this zone a try yourself, follow the short bootpack up the ridge from the top of Siberia, then make your way to National Chute, the farthest line and a wider alley that’s a smart choice for first-timers.
This footage was shot in early May 2023 after a record breaking season.
