Winx is one of those shows where the animation starts really good, and then it gets better and better until eventually it turns into weird 3D, acid trips and Victoria secret models, all to end up looking like a show for toddlers in animations and a weird fairy adaptation of Riverdale.

Honestly, I really love how much Bloom has grown throughout the series. I still remember the first season, she only recently realized she was a fairy, and going to Alfea, she not only learned to master her magic, but learn about her past and her power. She’s really come so far.

I always liked the idea of this cartoon.If we're talking about first 3 seasons.Sadly in terms of plot(and characters as its consequence) its potential wasn't released fully.There were 2 characters which especially didn't get proper development.Tecna has such and interesting powers and personality but she wasn't given a proper screen time.Bloom was especially disappointing.But it's the opposite.She was given too much screen time and while making scenes with her they didn't follow one golden rule "show don't talk".And such an interesting character with great potential was turned into Marry Sue.I hope that one day we'll get proper remake and atleast they will deal with both of them properly.

Unpopular opinion: I actually love the editing, aesthetic and music of the Tynix, Dreamix and Onirix transformations. They're unique, in a way. I didn't really like them at first, couple years ago when I was in my early teens (11-15) and first watched those seasons on CZcams and wherever else on the internet, but now that I'm older. Idk, I learned to appreciate them. Or my taste changed a bit.
My favorite one beign Enchantix. Closely following Harmonix and Sirenix. And the third tear beign Believix, Bloomix and Butterflix for me.
I love how Netflix even follows the X pattern 💀

I always wondered if the winx could switch into a prior season's transfornation form. 1. the power's they had in earlier forms seemed more potent or more relevant to certain later battles 2. the earlier costumes were definitely cool and I wouldn't blame them for wanting to try them on every now and again for nostalgia sake😂💙 3. Also they worked so hard to unlock each transformation but then they only get used a couple of times🤷♀️💙

@@fireball3366 those shows are crap, no offense. they rely on cheap gimmicks to capture their audiences instead of making something actually worth watching. they are meant to be easy watches, meaning you can just turn on the tv and follow what is happening because it does not use thorough worldbuilding or character development that would require you to think about the significance of certain moments.

Those are not even my top favorites, they just good. Not to mention its not cheap gimmicks if I like them. Cheap gimmicks would be a show like The Outpost. It had potential but was ruined.

Enchantix is such a great idea, the music, the animation with Bloom spinning in and the addition of the Dragon and the firey background...and then there's the outfit. Like I get that Bloom likes blue but I really wish they made her look a little more badass than that in her Enchantix form. Maybe give her some Dragon features like scales on the dress, dragon inspired wings with a more reddish tone because she is after all the Fairy of the Dragon Flame. 🔥 Yellow/Orange too with Red being the dominant color. Some dark brown too maybe for like the dragon scales. And the hairstyle could've been better as well. I liked Bloom's crazy hair look. They should've expanded on that. Would've been much cooler in my opinion.

As if Bloom's forever had a blue/purple/pink colour palette for her wardrobe and transformations and Netflix was like duuhhh fire fairy red
As an art enthusiast, I really like the cooler color palette (Icy shades of blue, cooler shades of purple, flashes of green/teal/turquoise.) because it compliments Bloom’s strikingly red hair and gives more contrast. Same with the dominantly cooler palette characters, like Musa, where her mostly warmly toned magenta outfit contrasted her very dark, icy blue hair, yet complimented it well. Really, it’s visual balance that makes it awesome. If they wanted Bloom to have more of a fiery palette without messing up visual balance and following artistic principles, they could have used (very) muted colors instead of bright, eye-catching colors or changed Bloom’s color palette altogether. But there are hundreds of other things affecting other stuff, like marketing and psychological that even I have trouble with, and even more visual stuff to deal with.

@@Feimicha Yes. Its one of the reasons why even after the flame dies out, the heat still remains. There's gases that are released from the wood and those get lit. You can see it in sparks too, the bottom of the spark is a shade of blue. Though it might be the nitrogen burning, but even so, blue fire is still hotter.

I think the best blend of new and old was Believix. It has the right amount of character in the transformation, while still having some of the new glam to it that feels more modern. Nice animation in the transformation too ^_^

The outfits were still good and introduced and fit each character. The story is where it messed up)

I miss how they look like teenagers and wore teenage clothes like: crop tops, shorts, and cute fairy outfits. And now season 8 of Winx ruined it, their new Winx transformation isn't as cool anymore because it's not mature. They said that Winx attracted more younger audience, probably because of their cute and fairy outfit. Just because it attracts younger audience it doesn't mean they have to change the style throughout every season to make it seem like its for babies.I really miss the mature version of Winx not the baby version

I've always loved Bloom, I like her outfits and colors, blue really suits her and I love her power, the dragon flame/fire. I miss the first seasons that are part of my childhood, they were the best in terms of design, plot, transformations, clothes and songs, the latest seasons don't even feel like winx anymore, it seems like a complitely another show and characters, so I pretend they don't exist. The outfits after harmonix suck and so the songs with exception of Sirenix and Cosmix songs. I think they totally ruined the show. About the Netflix series, no comment...
I love the design of the dress and the song. Winx is a very nice show, I look forward to more seasons.
The Netflix adaptation is missing a lot of the pizzazz that made the original so iconic. There is no outfit change, no hair extensions, no colorful wings, not even a popping song.

all series which become live action miss lot of things but i think they didn't have enough of money. And for me, fate is not in the winx saga. It's good if you don't think about the previous seasons which were for children and fate is for teenagers and more. I think the netflix adaptation is for target spectators, the first generation who grown up with the winx, like me, in an average of 16 or 18 yo

Frl I really hate her transformation in Netflix, everyone is like WAWWWWW but the music was boring & they just put some fire & the wings were not that good, there was any colours & even her clothes were sooo dark & heavy for a transformation like that so I didn’t look real.........& they really changed to many things, they messed up all the story, I want to kill the producer!!!!! Brian Young should have stayed in his Vampire Diaries things bc the fairy Wold doesn’t seem to fit with his mind.......& if they wanted a dark transformation I would understand bc a colourful one doesn’t go well with the world they created....,they should have at least changed the outfit based on BLOOM’s DARK FAIRY transformation...but this is horrible ,so heavy for a transformation, a leather jacket & leather pants ..plssss some effort ,the producer even didn’t include tecna & took out so many important characters to « concentrate » more on this one’s ,so at least he should have done better for this.. if he can’t he shouldn’t have tried to make a series of WINX CLUB bc he messed up like hell!

Well because when they were making Winx club, they only intended to create 3 seasons making Enchantix as the actual final fairy form but since Nickelodeon bought winx club, they had to make more seasons so Technically Enchantix is the final fairy form.

Winx Club is one of the only girl shows I enjoyed as a kid. Yes, I'm a guy and I enjoyed Winx Club as a kid. However, the Netflix show is not to my liking. And they even removed my favorite fairy Tecna.

@@Mayflower-xo8ew well mostly because these shows were also made for boys. It's aimed for girls but boys can still have fun with the action, comedy and story. Plus I thought Bloom, Tecna and the other fairys were pretty hot.
I made my brother watch winx Barbie and many other girls show and they never complained saying it was for girls besides we always like it since we were kids we always liked fantasy and superpowers
Even now I still watch cartoon anime and my mother yell at me saying its for kids beside where do you learn about friendship and love I learnt it from cartoon and anime I never like dramas up to this point its same old plot girl and boy fall in love happy ending blah blah blah

Let's be honest, the Fate transformation was seriously underwhelming.
Frl I really hate her transformation in Netflix, everyone is like WAWWWWW but the music was boring & they just put some fire & the wings were not that good, there was any colours & even her clothes were sooo dark & heavy for a transformation like that so I didn’t look real.........& they really changed to many things, they messed up all the story, I want to kill the producer!!!!! Brian Young should have stayed in his Vampire Diaries things bc the fairy Wold doesn’t seem to fit with his mind.......& if they wanted a dark transformation I would understand bc a colourful one doesn’t go well with the world they created....,they should have at least changed the outfit based on BLOOM’s DARK FAIRY transformation...but this is horrible ,so heavy for a transformation, a leather jacket & leather pants ..plssss some effort ,the producer even didn’t include tecna & took out so many important characters to « concentrate » more on this one’s ,so at least he should have done better for this.. if he can’t he shouldn’t have tried to make a series of WINX CLUB bc he messed up like hell!

Enchantix is SO good. Like everything it feels so powerfull and the music and everything feels different from all the new powers after the original one. It is my favorite one and honestly it was probably the best season either. (I forgot it was too long ago).

I really don't know why the live action of this seriesmade a whole different plot from the actual show and just gave it a name "Winx" even tho it isnt I wasso dissapointed when I saw bloom's live action transformation how all she did was do a short spin and there was fire around her legs and hands shestarted lifiting up a bit and BOOM! That wasall the transformation no outfit change and nothing other than just floating a lil bit and doing a short spin that was all the transformation I prefer the show atleast it has a full and nice transformation Idk why whenever a animated series gets a live action they always mess up
