  • This plane is my favorite and my first brand new bind-and-fly that I ever purchased. I have flown it a lot. This is a sad day, but she will fly again.
I tried to clean up the audio without much luck. I am working on getting a lapel mic.

Hey Buddy. I got Good News. I rewatched your video several times in slow motion. I annualized it frame by frame very slowly. After close observation, me and a Team of Professional Crime Scene Investigator's came to the conclusion that this mishap wasn't your fault. The Government has been installing Magnetic Light Poles where ever they see Pilot's flying RC Airplanes. Your final approach was perfect until it was literally Sucked right into that Magnetic Pole. I know because the exact same thing happened to me. Great video Brother.

At least your walk of shame was relatively short, I had to resort to direction finding with my Tx to find my crashed Turbo Timber Evolution, it landed in long grass at the end of the field, like yours, the nose was damaged and the wing was split, couple of splits in the fuselage, but nothing glue couldn’t fix, still flying it today 😃

That sucks dude. I would find a wide open place to fly though. Good luck with the repair.

Good thing it's foam and not balsa wood! I got my stick 40 in a pine tree a while back and it's tore up pretty good!

I’m new to this hobby but it’s oh so easy to place myself in your shoes. That would spoil my month let alone day. I’m thinking about getting the evo and I already have an arrows Bigfoot that in my head I’ve resigned to taking some damage but when it’s an expensive and much esteemed model you’re flying … now looking forward, did you damage the motor and shaft? Can you be more specific on what broke on the landing gear? I’m curious about that as the way they beefed up the gear I would have thought it would have flexed and not broken, did something just detach? Was the elevator an easy fix? Anyway just wanted to give you my condolences

Some nice flying bro. At least you got it back. All my planes are Turbo Timbers cos they spend so much time in the trees! It's so hard to judge distances when you are focused on your plane.

Absolutely spiked mine into the ground today, total loss😢

I did the same thing one day .I was flying my carbon cub s2 , plane was a couple hundred feet away from me. I was flying by some tall eucalyptus trees, looked like I had plenty of space until I watched it fly straight into the tallest tree getting stuck! My cousin and I spent the next few hours fishing it out of the tree. Surprisingly the plane took minimal damage during the crash however, during getting it out the tree we ended up cracking the fuselage at the tail😢. Had to epoxy it back on and it was ready to fly again!😅

I think you better buy a new one, and keep the other for the parts ! I hate flying around the freaking pôle ! But the timber evo it's a real good plane and fun to fly ! So good luck for the next time ! And enjoy this beauty ! 💙✈️👍

Been there done that, many times. I know your pain. I'll be putting up vids soon of my RC mishaps lol. Good it's not a total loss. Let me know if you find a fuse, last time I checked no one had them in stock

  • @EastCoastLtd

I got $45 in CA glue alone on one of mine 😂

  • @LifenSantaBarbara

Aaaaah I just crashed my Evolution earlier this evening. My dumbass lost brief control and flew it into a big tree!😢😢 Got a 15 ft. ladder and a telescopic pole pruner to get the plane down. Unfortunately the main wing is about 10 ft higher in the tree and we agreed to come back tomorrow and attempt to retrieve the wing during daylight hours. Sad sad day. I now feel your pain 😢😢😢

Me personally avoid flying in the hard wind! I don't find it very enjoyable but some people like that kind of flying!

I hate that for you. I love my TT Evo too. I did something similar with my Draco. HH does sell the raw motor mount for that, but good luck trying to get the old one off the carbon fiber rods. I learned where all the carbon is on that plane and while it's pretty tough, if you fracture any of the carbon fiber...it's really compromised.

  • @jamesturncliff5960

I have a cataract in my left eye I was born with it. I have no depth perception whatsoever. I seen that post jump out in front of your airplane and grab it out of the air happens to me all the time

Totally repairable.. Maybe a new fuselage??? You got a rough flying location.. I smashed my TT several times.. (repair video on my channel...). Good luck.

In Australia you'd be flying illegally must be 30 feet from any obstacle person road or stuture. I've got a tt evo i would have bloody cryed man, posted right on seeing this crash going to see damage watch the rest now.
