Zinli in Agbomey

The Zodji family drummers demonstrate the unique style of drumming/dancing known as zinli. Lead drummer is Joel Gboja Zodji who was my teacher while in Agbomey. Like much of Fon music, note the long polyrhythmic cycles at play here...very deep music.
