awesome review, lim. love the simple specs layout at the start to cut time. i think you're the only reviewer whom likes a little bezel. i always think the infinite displays and such were troublesome.

Already bought it before seeing your review. Agree with everything except with outdoor photo and speaker (ONLY because I have not tried it yet). I think you covered everything from a basic hardware perspective. Want to do another one for the value-add MIUI too ?

Thanks for the video, For the price, You can get the Mi A2 Lite which has the same battery, but also has Quick charge and 1080p display & a better camera with EIS, OTG, Android One and a few more options.

the 4x was my first xiaomi phone its really amazing... then i upgraded to the pocophone andi swear its good but deff not worth all the hype.. today i just bought my redmi 7 it has some issue's true they need to release some updates to fix the bloody notification but with a little costumisations here and there it really really feels amazing.. the camera deff isnt near as good as the poco but still for the price its really amazing

The back camera is ok.. sound quality is pretty descent through headsets and speakers are fine aswell overall its q really good phonebfor the price.. but id advixe u to wait for the y3 .. it has a better selfie cam.. 32 mp!

It is not water proof but if water is splashed on it accidently, it will survived. I'm using it that's why I know

Hello. As with most other smartphones, the Note version comes with slightly larger screen, better specs, and slightly higher price. The same can be said for the Redmi 7 and Note 7.

I would go with this unless you find a great sale on note 6 pro, mostly because it's newer and has android 9 instead of 8. Cpu&you is a bit better too but not much at all. 6 pro has better front camera but that's basically it.
So if you don't care about having the newest android, then you could buy 6 pro, *if* you find it $15-30 cheaper (compared to the 4/64gb version of note 7)

Sorry! I mostly film at night because I stay in a tiny flat and it’s only super quiet pass 1am. Lighting gets a bit tricky then and it affects my camera’s focus a little bit 😅

i just bought it and honestly its nor bad its feels good the camera is dissapointing tbh iv tried installing gcam but no use it keeps crashing but it really feels good and fast snapy as my old pocophone for the design its ok for me i love the looks am using a protective case so fine by me and the display .. well iv downloaded some themes made some changes and it really looks acceptable

This phone can go up against some $300-500 phones.
Camera wasn't a bit disappointing for me, and it is even better with gcam which doesn't crash for me.
I know other phones have better caneras, some for just $200-300 if not less, but those usually lack the other good aspects.
The last good known phone from Xiaomi in terms of build is, Redmi Note 6 Pro, preceded by, Redmi Note 5, Redmi 5 Plus, Redmi 4x, Redmi Note 4X, I like metal builds they last longer

wow that is a disappointing display, well I've had a worse IPS that was 1080p but compared to even old amoleds the angles and brightness not so good, almost nobody reviews the angles like this.
