This movement targets the lost, the broken, and the youth. Who are you to judge? I am not religious but I certainly know that Jesus told his followers to be tolerant of others. Whether they are tolerant of you, or not. All this division between Christians does nothing for your image. They may twist scripture in your opinion, but how do you know that you are not doing it? Don’t just call someone who is not of your denomination, a cult. There are many different ways to interpret Muslim and Christian scripture.

I'm from Manitoba, and this movement began next to us and the influence of William Branham was still felt here in the 1980's. You can still listen to his teachings at a dedicated website.
My dead younger sister was a member of a church started by the Faith Assembly Church (they publish the Contender and based in Jeffersonville Indiana) and there are still some pentecostals who believe William Branham was a prophet.
What I've tended to hear about Latter Rain is that they seemed to feel that they could *control the powers of God*, effectively making themselves gods. Take that with a grain of salt, though, but these types seem to be especially tied to stuff like the Seven Mountains Mandate and other stuff about "world conquest for Jesus" that I tend to believe falls completely out of line with the One who said His kingdom was not of this world and that the end would come His Father wanted it to, not when mortals had accomplished a certain series of tasks on their own.

I have another question, if the original latter rain movement believed and practiced deliverance, then is it true that the modern followers like IHOP, NAR do not?

I thought that the Latter Rain Church was a branch from Mormonism until i search in CZcams and Google about this movement😅😅😅.
