I'm re watching this and I think my solution to pencil and paper rpg runes/weird eldritch symbols is foolproof; if you aren't responsible then it's bad and you should destroy. The only other option is the conniving DM's games.

usually that means you're likely to die young, but if you get past childhood you have a good chance of living into your sixties

Professor Grizwald's storyarch has been such an enjoyable and crazy adventure lol. I just love how it has shaped itself to be its own entire story throughout these episodes.

Diego Gonzalez Issue is mafia members were often very grounded in reality. Cuthulu shit seems unreal an thus would hit them pretty hard. I do think he shouldn't be as affected by dead people though...
Diego Gonzalez well according to a few of the comments made by tom just after it seems like Donny is a vet of WW1. Understanding of the effects of combat on the mind was at its absolute infancy at this time so it would make sense for Donny to be suffering from undiagnosed and untreated PTSD.

It would include infant mortality. There is no reason a man who made it to 57 wouldn't be able to live another 20 years
I'm not sure but in 1920s Canada a 65 year old was expected to live an average of 13 years more. So yeah, infant mortality is probably factored in.
he said he was only 58 because of the odds of him having a heart attack, even at the age of 58 in the 20s and 58 in todays standards, a 58 year olds chance of heart attack would be the same then and now making simon correct, natural death is a completely different subject.

Simon's character is 58, and according to Google, average life expectancy for a man in 1920 was 53.6 years old...
That's probably including child deaths though. For example, in many eras and regions, if the life expectancy is 60, that generally means that there is a lot of death in childhood, as opposed to dropping dead at 60. As it's averages.
So if you make it past 12, you have a much higher chance of making it to 80 and so on.
Also, even in eras and regions where the life expectancy of 60 genuinely means most people die at 60 or around that, you can still make it to 100+ as an outlier/exception.

Fo Ren G there was the eggs though. Also it would be very difficult for a human to remove a spine from the front. Spine could of been removed after death... i dunno i guess that requires a medical or perception role to see if the blood was still flowing while the spine was removed. The marsh wizard is a disgusting old man. Maybe the monster needs human spinal cord to reproduce that would explain the eggs and its sudden rampage.
