- Hi CZcams !
I had to pull out my winter coat ❄️ because it’s that time in Canada. But it was embarrassingly dirty. I put it thru the washer and drier and it was STILL DIRTY.
Naturally I turned to CZcams and found a video by Miss AP showing how she cleaned her white coat.
• Clean White Winter jac...
So I gave her method a try !
Watch till the end to see the results. 💖 - Jak na to + styl
🤣🤣🤣🤣 Wait....I gotta listen to that again. "Because I like to give my self extra problems in life" love it. I'm subscribing
I felt this 😆 🤣
I feel this too and found this video because I too like to give myself more probs by having a ski jacket with white sleeves. Going to try this right now. Fingers crossed.
I bought this jacket thinking OUUUUU SO CUTE and not thinking about what will happen when it gets dirty
You must be a girl 😅😝🙌🏼
Love to make our life’s harder to prove if your worth it ^^
GIRLLLLLLL you are my Hero, thank you so so much, I haven't wear my jacket for the past two years because I felt so embarrassed on how dirty and yellow it looked even that I had washed it several times and honestly I was thinking of throwing it. For some reason today it occurred to me to look in CZcams and I saw this video. Since my Jacket is long what I did is I filled the bathtub with your recipe and let my jacket soaked there for like 30 to 40 mins, I started scrubbing the stains and OH MY WORDDDDD, I am telling you they were disappearing without much effort. I finish scrubbing and my jacket looked amazing. I put it in the washing machine then in the dryer and It came out looking so beautiful and it did not look yellow or stained. My goodness you are amazing, I wish you all the best, lots of success in whatever you do in life, thank you for sharing, many blessings for you and your family
I used vinegar and dishwashing liquid on my dry blood stained colored blanket as well and it does work. You just need patience cause you have to soak it for hours. But at least it didn't ruin the fabric like what bleach does.
Hydrogen peroxide gets blood out
I watched so many videos about cleaning my jacket and I lked yours the best🥳
Thanks
Thank you so much for this!!! You did an awesome job. I loved your candor, you were saying all the things I am thinking about and dealing with with my coat! All the other tutorials just tell you how to machine wash it, but none talk about how it can be still dirty when it comes out of the wash like mine still is! The spots like the pockets, edges and around the neck get so dirty and have makeup on them. I did use oxyclean and detergent in the wash, now I will try your method and wash again. Fingers crossed! 🤞
I am curious how did oxyclean work for you ?
Gold bar of dial soap works too...I just rub the bar of soap on to coat and scrub it in and put into the washer....gold bar of dial soap works good on blood stains on under garments too...
That’s great! I will try this on a jacket I have. I’m glad they are back in style. Would this work on clothes too?
can i use perwoll instead of dishwashing liquid .?. i only have blue dishwashing liquid.
i tried this method and it kind of worked but i wanted to know it oxi clean would fully get ride of the stains?
Thanks for this video, mines really dirty too. Did you ever try oxiclean? I was thinking of doing oxiclean too, or using your solution and out it inside the washer but I’ll see what I end up doing since thank you so much! This helps a lot
Thanks for making this video. I’m going to try this.
Thanks for video! You did an amazing job! I will try this. I have stains on my pink coat from last winter and I was wondering how to remove it. Thanks again!
Did it work?
That start got me yes girlie same 🧍🏼♀️
4:50 it looks great!! I’m about to try this out right now! 🧼😃
Yes avoid mixing oxi clean and vinegar, unless you want a very bad reaction in your washing machine.
Can you do the same process on a color jacket as well?
Thank you for this video! I bought a vintage cream-colored coat from Ebay and I would like to give it a refreshed look 😂 I like your jacket btw! So cute
Thank you ! Best of luck. I would advise to let the solution soak on the jacket for longer before putting it in the washer.
THANK YOU , FOR SHARING .. I'm surprised how white your jacket came out ..
How to clean columbia omni heat jackets?
So update, I didn’t have any vinegar so my mom went ahead and sprayed it down with Dawn platinum power wash spray and hand scrubbed it and put it in the washer. Thankfully it looks pretty clean! I’m sure regular Dawn soap would work as well! :) hope this helps
Thank you for the video, I will try your way tomorrow.
I hope it works well for you!
Thank you it really worked
Definitely helped
Can u submerge it in this instead of spreading it
I have same jacket as this but mines has blAck lines down it can't get it out any ideas
How can remove fungus stains from pink puffer jacket?
How to clean colour from this coat
Great thanks
You are so amaizing that help me so much ❤😍❤😍
I have same jacket from superdry
Does it need to be a clear dish soap? I’ve got a blue coloured dish soup 😅
Any answer on this question?
can try this on yellow jacket
Will this work on tan colored jackets? To revive up the color?
do you have the answer
Thank youuuu
Yh I’m gonna try it 😊👍
does it specifically matter what type of vinegar you use ?
I don't think so. But for reference I used white vinegar. I don't think the brand matters
I just got a reallly nice cream colored north face down for Xmas and I’m scared to use it because of this!
I would just say when you do wear it be cautious about things like being too close to a dirty car. The dirt accumulates so quickly before you really notice.
@@goldenxkenny yes I’ve been definitely trying not to touch things and being aware of my surroundings while I wear it now. 😬
I have a black Columbia that I wear when I don’t have time to take my time lol
Use washing machine?
where is the link to the Original youtube ???
You most likely have hard water. The minerals of hard water are hard on clothes. Borax is a natural water softener
THANKS SO MUCH!
You are so welcome !
You’re so cute “I like to give myself extra problems in life “ 😂
🥲
Did you air dry it? Or used a dryer?
I'm 90% sure I air dried it. Just be sure to read the washing instructions on the tag of your jacket. it will usually say tumble dry low i think. But if you're unsure just air dry it
How can I put my moose knuckles in a washing machine 😭
😍😍😍omg it works thank you dear!!!!
No problem !!
How do i remove permanent marker, got that shi on my puffer from some kid at school 💀
literally me rn!
Ohhhh look at those foundation marks on the collar! I know that one! Lol
🥲😂
great!!!!! im gonna do the same
How to remove pen marks from the jackets??
Try rubbing alcohol and blot( do nut rub)
If not rubbing alcohol then hairspray also works 😊
Oxy clean will dissolve feathers. Not for natural things like silk or feathers
Thank you for letting me know ! I haven't tried oxygen-clean yet.. so now I definitely won't be
You should put it In the washer with all that and see if it works
hmm that could be interesting. But I do see that it does need time to soak in the solution first. I wonder if the washer will water down the ingredients? definitely worth a try I think
Probably don’t put vinegar in ur washer
@@michaelsandoval3538 Actually vinegar is totally fine to use in the washing machine. It’s often recommended over fabric softeners because they tend to leave a dingy hue/residue on clothes
Nice video, but your audio is so low frfr
Thank you so much for the video, I tried the method out after watching your video and the original and made my own video as well! czcams.com/video/yR9Gbt-J9bg/video.html
That jacket isn't even dirty. Looks brand new
I feel like the camera doesn't show the dirt well. But it is very noticeably brown around the wrists and elbows of the jacket and the pockets.
U waited till it got that filthy 🤦🏿♀️
Yes Ma'am. I wear it everyday in the winter and I have a busy life
Why are you like that
@@randi-lynnemillerson8237 like what? The comment was out of curiosity.
I'll try this out, I'm close to the point of throwing mine away.
