I am working in Government setup preventive health,do I need to work in medicine dept to appear for paces
Hi Afeya,
Thanks for ur comment. No absolutely not. There is no such requirement.
Best of luck on ur MRCP journey..
Dear junaid, the only mrcp notes i studied neuro section it lacks many points but good thing is its short and easy to memorize but what about the knowledge gap because book is short but good? Will all the missing point be covered from pass medicine?
Thanks for your pertinent comment. It will give you a strong foundation to build on. Using another source like Passtest question bank surely helps with expanding knowledge. I always used to write down extra bits on only notes u will ever need. If I found sth difficult to understan Internet is your friend. One cant cover the entire medicine but need to cover enough to pass this exam. And remember you only have to do a little better than your colleagues to pass. And this book will help you loads in combination with other question banks.
Good Luck..🙂
Thank you junaid but look iam sharing with you my strategy i read only mrcp notes and i also use my old medicine book which i studied for my final exams because it makes my topic easier then i go to mrcp notes
In my old i cover basics of the chapter while in mrcp notes i cover my mrcp points
Because iam freshly graduated i have enough time to prepare so i want to utilize my time and instead of wasting is this my strategy good? Yes now iam solving my pass medicine booklet and after few months i will buy pastest subscription

That is a very good strategy. Studying from an old book will consolidate your memories of the topic and will make it easier to recall. So u are doing great. Be careful with time management though, sometimes when we have time at hand we work extra hard with same or even poor results. So stick to a schedule keep notes ur bed book and include extra relevant information u need and in the end make sure u revise smartly from only notes and the extra bits u added for a good performance in exam.
Thank you junaid
Please let me know when the confirmation of the international place for seat for exam after the application

dr aleem can we do the 4th edition.i cant find 5th edition of sudamedica?or if u have links please share.
No worries. Which country are you based?
@@dr.junaid-aleem india
@AzureSeraphimRick no worries. The book is easily available in Pakistan from Nishtar Publications. I wouldn't advise 4th edition as things evolve. Try to get 5th edition for the recent knowledge. I will post a link for the pdf version asap.
for MRCP2 the clinical experience of two years at THQ ( tehsil headquarter hospital) is acceptable?? or is it necessary to do it in tertiary care hospital.. kindly guide.
You don't need clinical experience per se to sit in the exam. You can sit whenever you like. You need atleast one year of house job from graduation. So yes are eligible and go for it..
@@dr.junaid-aleem it means after MRCP1 there is no need of clinical experience except house job to appear in MRCP 2 and PACES??
@@pakistanibaloch2955 for Mrcp 2 and paces u dont need any thing. Means you can appear in them after mrcp1 straight away. 1 year requirement post graduation is only for mrcp 1.
Sir,
Notes¬es
Vs
The only mrcp notes
Which one is best among these two books??
Hi Lalit, thanks for stopping by. I liked mrcp notes as this is compilation of answers of mcqs in chapter form from pass medicine. Notes and notes are a bit extensive. Bottom line; any of these books do but i liked mrcp notes better as it helpes me get through question bank of pass medicine quicker.
All the best for ur exam..:)
