Foregrips are gay. And I cannot remember a single time one ever helped me do anything, I can however, remember many instances where one hindered me from doing things.
Good points. I think its role specific. Rifle built for distance as its primary use case? Ditch the foregrip for the reasons you stated here. General purpose? Could swing either way. Personally its more comfortable for my wrist (desk job doesn't help!) so I run it on my generalist rifle.
yep... foregrips are great for people who actually carry/work with their firearms... also qd options mean you can take it off to stabilize on whatever if you need to.
I’ve seen that done as well can definitely work for this barricades like cracks but gets more difficult for me on wider objects like tires or car hoods
I came to the same conclusion. I felt my rail was too slim without it, so I put a magpul polymer pic rail on the bottom mlok rail that keeps a flat surface and still maintains an index point. I just wrapped it in self-cling camo tape for now to make it more comfortable, but in a pinch, I can access the rail to lock in to a tripod or apply a grip if wanted later
most long range set ups will use a bipod, you usually don't find a ladder and bag in the field.. that being said i don't use a vertical fore grip on anything 16 in or longer, 14.5 i might use an indexer, 12.5 and under i'm most likely using a fore grip

Vertical grips are great for rucking
This so much.

Always look forward to your content.
Love sub guns!
I prefer the SBI Handstop thing. I love that lil guy.
I use it as a brace to push against a barrier reducing recoil. As well as its comfortable

Good stuff man. Been debating ditch my reverse BCM on my 13.7 for a while, I think this might push me over the edge!
Do it you won’t regret it

Yep. If you value solid work off a structure then ditch vert.
Definitely one of the first lessons I learned out at open gym

You can’t always use a bipod, sometimes you have to shoot off of objects, like car hoods, tree stumps, rocks etc.
But a foregrip looks tacticool! But what happens if you only have 1 arm to shoot with then what! Personally I like redundancies!
I mean you have a sling bro just wrap your hand in it like its there for lol
Never used a fore-grip on any firearm other then my non nfa
a bag isn't something id carry with me as gear to bring with my rifle
A bag is simply a stand in here for support it could be a fence post car hood or anything you use
@@Recce_randyor a backpack, you know like a, what do we call it? A bag!
Yes grate demonstration 15 inch hand guard vs 4 inch hand guard now we know your points are invalid
The principle still applies regardless of handguard length but thanks for the very constructive comment..
Never used a vertical grip, just mounted hand/finger stops closer to the mag well than the muzzle.
