I’ve sold off a bunch of handguns over the last few years and settled into Glock 43x mos, doublestack 9mm mos glocks and staccato p duo. I’ve got iwb and owb holsters, mags and spare parts for each. At one point I had Glocks across multiple calibers, sig p320, beretta m9, 1911s and m&ps. I’ve found that dialing into a couple platforms you get proficient much faster and it requires much less effort logistically.

I’m loving how general purpose rifles and SPRs are like 2 black holes swirling and merging together lol. It make sense though. 14.5s with lpvos. The mk12 mod h being a 16” which completely negates the “must be 18 for spr” opinion. I think “precision fighting rifle” is just the logical end we’re moving towards. In which case it’s either general purpose or “special” purpose depending on your implementation of the tool. And also like you said it’s 11 pounds with can bipod and thermal and light. You can swap the thermal for a peq drop the can and bipod and it’s more mobile. Run the can and bipod with thermal during those activities. The gpr/spr kinda rifles that are being build that really can flex back and forth with attachments like cans bipods, arca sections on rails, lpvos and different lighting devices. I think it’s sick. I still think for “normal people” a 16” with a red dot and magnifier is perfectly fine. And set ups like this are for us more. Spectrum living individuals 😂 this is our tism. Sick build. Im loving where rifles are going. Capabilities > hot ig stuff

I bought my DWX in December 2022,, first impression, super nice. Started shooting it. Was not overly impressed. A little chunky and heavy recoil response, trigger heavy for what it is. After a long journey of having it optic cut and ported, new trigger ect, the front sight became loose and broke in half. Called DW. The only way to replace the front sight is to send the entire gun in and have them refit a new front sight to a new slide. I know I had the gun sent out and recoated but it was perfect when it came back, seriously sending the gun in for a new slide to replace the front sight. Not being able to get any spare parts or replacement parts. And of course I had the gun optic cuts and now is void from any type of warranty and I will have to pay around $800 to have the front sight replaced, seriously. And now the same thing with the optic ready version that was just released, you have to wait 6 months for an optic plate to come into stock and there's no notifications. On Tuesday I sold my gun at a huge loss but recouped a large amount of money. This is my second go-around buying Dan Wesson products where things did not work out for me. I won't make it a third.

On the second stage you were missing the poppers and you like broke your grip to like a semi compressed ready and then re pressed out and kept going. Was that to reestablish the grip? 4:17 sick content Brother keep it up.

It's the best bolt, bolt extension, and barrel in the business. Travis Haley has gotten 80k+ rds through a gen-1 E3 bolt. That, alone, makes it top tier. Top Tier really only is LMT and KAC; only two companies that can get a bolt to last past 50k rounds with regularity. Also, I have not met more than a handful of people who have ever broken even a garbage 9310 bolt, much less a C158 standard bolt.

It's certainly not a mid tier rifle lol. Its the absolute best duty gun one can buy... ya sure it doesn't have a stainless barrel, adjustable gas block, ultralight cut receivers and that jazz but all of that even the barrel to a degree are all range toy gimmicks. those "high end" parts dont make a high end rifle they make a pleb trying yo look rich one...

Sig 77gr has become my go to for accuracy testing. Seems to do great in just about all my rifles so far

Dang, that SD for the AAC is crazy. I have been running the 77gr OTM, and the SD I have been getting is 20-22 every time I have chronographed it.

I agree 100% on your SH4 assessment. Good heavy budget scope.

The only gripe that I have with the SH4 outside of the illumination, is that the magnification and parallax adjustments are backwards compared to all other scopes. But it doesn’t change how awesome the optic is for such a small price.

Was going to buy an EP4 before they discontinued it purely for size and price. Since they discontinued that model nothing they have interests me unfortunately.

My friend just got a epl4 4-16 for a 18" ar15. Its a lighter optic and probably a better comparison to the Leupold.
