What is the thing called that you use to keep your batteries warm that you showed in the video?
My legs 😊 but you can buy warm packs on ebay that keep batteries warm and safe when it's cold.
Very interesting, I am building out my own Aerial photography and video platforms with non DJI equipment as DJI is banned in the areas that I will be flying in.
Hoping that ban doesn't come to Australia. Building your own drone will be awesome 😍

how much would you charge for the lake survey job near the airport?
Depends on the airport, controlled/uncontrolled. Permissions required or not. Size of the lake. Usually around $15 per hectare.
Could you please let me know roughly the start up cost is?
I would think the majority of Drone operators are self employed but it’ll still be good to see the costs.

I started it with $5K - That was to cover drone Insurance, OH&S requirements, certifications and compliance within certain industries, software like adobe premiere pro, lightroom and photoshop, uniforms, communications and small accessories for the drone like ND filters, SD cards and Telstra Internet. I already had 2 good drones, so that's not included in the $5K. Nor is the RePL certification which was about $2.5K at the time.
I have a RePL, currently doing my ReOC. Could we work together?
We work with lots of commercial operators throughout Australia. So for sure, contact us when the business is up and running.

Is there any course in UAV in Australia for international students?
Check with a company called AviAssist - they may be able to help. But I dont think been an international student will be a problem with any UAV/RPA school.
