Building on this, I'm not sure if this is unlimited or not, I've had the situation where I've sat on the edge of a map with a sniper and the rest of my squad defending a crater (they decide to go prone at the bottom of it...perfect). Every 30 seconds or so I would walk back over to the squad and tell them to resupply me and it worked, I never ran out of ammo. I'm also not sure if it always gives you a mag of ammo or not (sniper it gave me 5 shots). A squad member needs an ammo pouch of course.

How do You Ask for ammo?

super dumb ai: Shoots me from halfway across the map through 20 trees and headshots me.
They are stupid and laser accurate. I think they have a certain limited range to spot you. I remember I was hiding and shooting AI through a crack in the wall and they didn’t notice me. I killed all of them until a real player sneaked behind me and killed me.
@Dacillo Aeros i swear my AI gets like 3 kills max per game. They always die instantly I have to solo wipe squads cuz of how useless they are
If you have a rifle and an AI is a medium distance away from you and doesn't appear to have seen you, you better make sure your first shot hits because the AI will instantly know it is being shot at and from where and I'm pretty sure the AI is wicked good at snap shooting.

That should be fixed now. IA was able to see through smoke but after the last update that's history. I hope.....
I really want a “support tank” command. Like when you get close to a friendly tank you can help them out. Have the squad spread out to the left, right and rear of tank. One thing this games is lacking is team work with other real players.

If a tank is full you can tell your guys to control the tank since it’s full they won’t get into it by the will follow that tank around at a decent spread out fashion

@@rodsilva7750 I’m starting to believe noone does. Winning or losing really comes down to people playing properly, having a good pilot or a good tanker really makes or breaks the match. And I can’t stress enough how annoyed I am that people don’t push an objective together and then wonder why the team loses. I get 60-70 kill games frequently sniping as my sniping squad has 3 snipers with two snipers for primaries and still lose constantly.
This game was confusing at first, but after you learn the AI stuff, it is kind of unique and fresh. I love playing with strictly my AI. I'll get into combat when they all die, lol. Reminds me of an old ps2 game called "Freedom Fighters". You get to control like 10 AI soldiers as teammates. My friends and i would just have them fight each other and we would just watch. It was fun and very entertaining.
My god I used to love that game. I'd sit with my brother for hours and create little scenarios

1:48 I found that if you tell your squad to stay close formation they will stay close to the point you tell them to defend. Instead of walking in front of machine gun nests and tanks
I love the idea of ai squad. I mean imagine setting yourself up on a house to snipe an objective and you command your squad to set themselves up inside the house to cover your back whilst you snipe.
You can do that.
I was a sniper and an enemy ran into my building without my knowledge, ran past me and didn't see me but my ai chased him down and bayonetted him in the back

@Scottish Lad an ai that's not noticing the player is better/smarter than an ai that always noticrs an player.

I’ve gotten about 20 hours of gameplay and I had no idea you could do more than the simple X button commands! my fav thing to do is get a huge flank and make my squad hold the position and wreck enemies as they try to flank our team

I love the high power semi autos like SVT, garand, gewher, they're ohk usually and it's just so nice to use.
Bolt action is good if you we it right
Marking your targets increases the effectiveness of your AI to some degree it seems. It's not conclusive how much, but it does somewhat. This is also mentioned in previous patch notes.
Oh, and the markers are only effective at distances. In CQB, AI tends to ignore them. So use it mostly in longer ranges and defensive positions for the AI. I think teammate markers also work, I have not verified this though. A lot of neat features.
Words can't explain how much you helped the noob me today, I was getting my head blown up trying to understand why in the world do I have this squad? Oh, yeah I know, so the enemy can rack up kills much quicker.

Brilliant work, thanks mate. As for attacking enemy tanks, it's a last resort it does work if they have detpacks the do cook their grenades, but usually against unaware target.. saw some post about distraction too, good idea!

great guide. I didnt know a lot of thing but figure out the only really useful: hide the squad and use them as "respawn" when trying to push.

Great enlisted videos, they help a lot. I like to send AI to objectives, because then they will actually stay there while I run off to attack enemy territory
I use the "stuff em in a closet method" but also I love sending my squad in the front while I go around back, typically I wipe out the enemy and only lost half of my squad lol

@Quadro you can give squad members individual commands too, in the controls section for remapping buttons there’s a thing called switch mode of conmanding and this allows you to give individual commands

Hey man, thanks for the vids, hope the channel blows up! What settings do you use for aiming? I'm having a tough time getting used to it. I'm still at the low levels using bolt actions and missing is getting me killed a lot.
I use a Deathadder Elite at 800 DPI, and I just use a sensitivity of 1 in game. I'm a very "flick" oriented player, and Enlisted's low TTK tends to favor aggressive, fast aiming over slower tracking style. Try being more aggressive and closing the distance, and shooting from the hip!

One little tip for everyone jump running is pretty op. Focus your perks stamina and jump.

This system is really cool. I love having the AI squads. I'm weird I actually loved the cod ghosts squad mode and because of this system I think I'm gonna try it out.
This is why im really interested in this game. I really loved the idea of COD Ghosts. I just hope the AI isnt bad D:
@@bobzombie2710 I've played a lot since and the AI gets some kills but they're pretty bad compared to squads mode in ghosts. I wish they'd make a game like squad modes again :/
AI is quite horrible though, they do get kills sometimes but mostly they are just like extra spawn slots for you

@@HeyQuadro hahah thats not only Russian tactic ! .. Sometimes its better to die for something then for nothing xd ... Also in some squads like bomber is not good to have him first runing foreward to die with anti tank gun example , you use normal trooper to scout and move foreward .

You can also tell the AI to control vehicle- AT/AA guns and then you can swap to them when needed

just a heads up, currently *(As of 09/17/2021)* giving an AI a dismantle/build order _[also possibly destroy armored target order]_ will make your AI abandon you and not do the said order.
They will quite literally do a "fall back/retreat" order if there ever was one. They won't stick together and pull a "every man for himself".
No clue if the devs accidentally caused this when they were "reworking" the AI commands like they said they were gonna do ages ago, but its really annoying when I'm trying to have an AI engineer build a rally point while I move my guys on point.
I use my ai as bait quite often. If I hear a bullet fly past my head, I'll send an ai into the open and look for the muzzle flash. A common enough situation that is surprisingly effective.
So basically - wide formation and then just "Hold Ground." Understandable, have a great day.

People underestimate the Trooper squad. I have a 9man trooper squad (1 engi, 1 LMG, 1 bomber, 6 Troopers) fully equipped with Gewehr 43s (LMG has Breda Mod). Just camp in bushes or point defend near them and stay prone. They regularly get more kills than I do, sometimes wiping full squads before I even see someone. I've noticed that they're insane with the Gewehr 43 and not so much the M1 Garand. If you're USA the Lee Enfield seems pretty effective, though not as much as the Gewehr 43.
I just started playing this yesterday. I've been liking it so far. I love the concept of having AI squad members.
But I was wondering, does the AI vary depending the rank or level of the soldier? Or does every bot have the same intelligence?
So far it seems like their IQ caps at 50

i got so happy when i read the build command existed, but you still need to be the engineer to use it, was hoping to be my gunner soldier and tell my engineer to build a supply crate.

Tip I used when you build at gun or AA gun if you put your units in the and tell them to shoot a tank or a plane they do that but some times it works and times it dose not
Wish it was tighter. Ive had decent luck with spreading men out in woods far away they hit eventually and the enemy usually has many closer targets to shoot. You can also move them individually

It should be good have lot more commands for maeby put a especific soldi in a especific position and maeby have pre settings before battle that make specific soldiers act in a especific way like have one that be like a medic or something
Wow I never noticed you can make them spread out while on the move.
Now I really only wish the distance you could be away from them would be greater, since really every small push you make yourself breaks every command anyway and the idiots inevitably run into their demise.

Edit: I just went ingame and I have no Formations when bringing up the Radial Command Menu (ALT). Was this feature removed?

U have to mark the armored target for your squad first... (red skull icon) then give the command to attack an armored target... or they will just do nothing but pick their noses.
This game reminds me a lot of the game band of brothers hells Highway definitely keep them close in certain areas and have them defend a spot when they have cover and always mark enemies keep them alive they can definitely help if you command them and not just let them run around and forget about them

I find using em to attack tanks does work even without AT guy. Just keep grenades on some of em and they'll throw em
also can order Mine or Disarm an objective in the plant a bomb missions
To be honest if I go down I get into a safe place engage the medication then switch characters.. find it just keeps the fighting moving.
They use the cover in a effective way? Never saw that with my squads. I ordered them to stay inside a bunker, and what did they do? They heard shots and rushed out of the bunker into the enemy.
Did they take the "formations" command away in a new update? I cant find it in settings or in game

I play on xbox and I'm sure it's holding one of the d pad directions and it brings up a radial menu.

Is this all the same? Seems like it. I have been trying to level up my troopers and you mention that rifle squads are really strong, because having 6+ people to cap with you is OP. So for that I would get to cap and hit x twice right? I also am struggling with like when I am dying, my AI will be facing in completely different directions when I jump to one of them, often leading to my whole squad getting killed fast.
Is it be or does the head turning while running feel a bit off, like it’s delayed (compared to your traditional FPS)
Yes it is delayed, I think theyre trying to give a slower feel to the movement. Jury is still out on whether or not it works well though
try "Lone Fighters" mode when reach campaign 3rd level.

You can, yeah. Theyre obviously more effective in cover
I use this tactic of making my squad hold positions while I go to the side and snipe them. This gets countered by enemy ai cus for some reason they know where I am
