thank you , i remember that elevated lobby area.and always wanted to slide down but wasn't allowed to..i spent time there during its golden years. I called it home for two years in the 80s, my family and i lived in the resident managers hotel apartment on the third floor. lovely childhood spent on the big green grounds behind the hotel, so many afternoons after school and on weekends at the pool..
