I really like that dress on you! Both the print and the style suit you well. I can't wait to see what you choose to wear to Frocktails. You've got plenty of time to decide. I'm sorry about your peach tree. I wonder if it was diseased and that might have been contributing to the irregular plum production. I am thrilled you had a chill day to relax and sew. We all need those sometimes.
My son was here for a visit, and I spent a lot of time mending his comfy cargo shorts, but other than that no sewing here. I had a dress in the queue but that isn't working out so I'm thinking some new shorts are in order. I don't know what it actually ended up being today, but the forecast said 99 today. I'm having to water my little garden every day now as it's been so dry here. And to think how much I was longing for warmer weather! Something cool to wear will definitely be my next project.
99. That is too hot. I guess everything needs extra water. I hope you had a good visit with your son.
It was a peach tree that broke and had to come down. I believe it may have been diseased but I couldn’t figure out how to save it. The plum tree is healthy, so hopefully, it will continue to flourish.
I whipped up the pajama bottoms. I am not sure what project to work on next, maybe shorts?
