Looks amazing, Sid. Sad that neighborhoods decay like that. I live in Philadelphia, PA. We have plenty of neighborhoods like this one (and far, far worse). I find the biggest reason for such decay is economic depression. Doesn't have to be nationwide. A few good factory jobs leave the neighborhood/community, nothing comes in to take the place. The "bad element" enters as land values (comparatively) decrease, the authorities can't seem to get a handle on the crime. Street's in disrepair. Hope dies. People finally just give up. Now, this house is a bright spot in an otherwise dull, dreary street. Hopefully it'll cause another neighbor to want to make their home look better. Give'em something to be proud of.

YAY! More to watch on your new channel. You’re at almost 6,000 subscribers! Yikes, that was a dodgy neighborhood! I wanted to keep watching your van for you!

Imagine if all the neighbors banded together for your services. How sharp their block would look.💕

Some areas are shocking. You would think that since Covid people would be more aware and not litter. I've seen comments that 'it's dirty since it's a diverse community'. I've seen and challenged all sorts of people about throwing their garbage. I'm an ethnic minority and hate litter bugs. You've done an excellent job and pleasure to watch it being washed away.

I live in a little Close and it always seem like all peoples rubbish ends up around my house. I think the wind does blow it there. But there's got to be rubbish about the first place! Kids play outside and just throw they're wrappers and packets on the floor. It really pisses me off. I have,in the past, gone outside and cleaned it all, but when you see kids just throwing they're rubbish down, well I don't bother anymore.

*their* it’s _their_ rubbish. Not they’re. They’re is the same as they are. They are rubbish is a nonsense sentence I think you’ll agree.
      Don’t skip school kids.

That came up fantasticly well, it's amazing how messy and dark some surfaces can get, great work. Was the door in the middle burnt?

Studies have shown that an area that looks neglected by owners will be treated badly by others as well. Keep maintenance up when dealing with potentially dodgy neighbours is critical. It reclaims common areas too, if a neighbourhood gets involved in making it 'their' common space.

I do the same thing. Once you finally get it all picked-up, then you just have to grab garbage a few times a week to keep the pigs from overwhelming you.
