Goodness me, Sid, please be careful when working on heights - it's truly uncomfortable watching you standing on those thin ladders, doing acrobatic roof walking, cleaning gutters with your bare hands with who knows what kind of bacteria, fungus and who knows what that rain and wind brought hidden in those leaf piles, waiting for open spot on your skin to get into your blood stream and cause serious trouble, dodging wet wires - and all that without any protection for work on heights. Please, do consider some safety upgrade. Please. You know how often you have small accidents - it just happens. Please, make sure something more sinister doesn't happen to you. Stay safe, take care and thanks for relaxing vibes. XO

OOOHHHHH you got my bald patch, and my obvious requirement for a diet! for those interested the machine is made out of industry standard parts, so there isnt anything weird and wonderfull and they are all well tested. We have had a few cold mornings and when the water passes through very small holes it doesnt take much, also these thing go through huge heat cycles.... A brass coupling had split, but this also disturbed a pipe which has just decided to leak from its crimped coupling. We will because of the hours these machines work lift the boiler off and check it out to ensure its in top shape for Sid, as we would fo any customer. we are a very belt and braces aproach over stuff like this. We also have some free upgrades for Sid too, like remote start and push button start! The boiler will be getting close to if not passed its service window, and the engine and pump will love some nice fresh oil. As for what is warranty or not, we treat sid no different to any of our other customers, every one gets the same level of service, so i am sure he will fill you in with how Sid finds dealing with us.

I didn’t think it was frost either I think it’s just a case of a hose wearing, it happens. My normal hoses last a year if I’m lucky, definitely had a few split within the 6-8 month mark. Just happens using a machine pretty much every day of the week!

I'm not a roofing professional, so take this with a grain of salt. I think the rear of that chimney should have a different sort of flashing to prevent the debris build up like that. Here in the U.S., I've seen a kind of saddle type of flashing behind chimneys to split the run-off and debris around the chimney and higher flashing up the rear of the stack. You could see in this chimney how much debris and moisture was trapped there. I wouldn't be surprised if there was water intrusion under the roof tiles nearby and interior leakage.

A bit pricier but more effective much easier maintenance, easier to spot any future leaks and less damage if anyone walks on it because they wont wont be pressing chippings into the felt.

Sid, videoing for us we know adds to the time and difficulty of a work day. Over the last years, the instability of video equipment (or whatever type it is), has become pretty apparent. They meltdown/shut off in heat, the cards run out of space, parts break, they tip over in winds, data recorded disappears.... That your good work gets done is a priority. I, along with others, are sorry you had trouble but your work is a foundation and we are glad to wait for a view as time goes on. Also, you are probably learning more skills, in the war of trying to recover lost information. You apparently had mechanical troubles as well, to resolve. As I peruse lichen and moss and a filled gutter, I don't think I've seen a fully-green flat roof before, that you pointed out. Can understand it will need more gravel, etc. after cleaning. A whole set of clogged drains as well? You had the works. The marvel of watching things become repaired as you work does not fade. Roof damages stop, yard nuisances reduce, and the beauty of designs/yards return. Thank you to all who were helping you and to those working to resolve difficulties. Nice the new owners are making repairs and now will also be able to arrange for working drains.
