The key change at the 1'50" mark gives me chills. ❤❤
This is a good song for kids, show your kids.
I've listened to a lot of different versions of this song but this version is by far the best version of this song I've heard. Well done!
I agree 100%
I just wanted to let you know it's been years and this is still the only song that can actually bring me to tears. It is the most beautiful song I have ever heard
If you enjoy this piece/arrangement as much as you say, you should listen to the following recording,

Angels We Have Heard on High (arr. Mack Wilberg) · Southwestern Seminary Oratorio Chorus · The Fortworth Chamber Orchestra
it's better, well, at least in my opinion, it's not too fast and it's a bit more expressive than this performance is, more refined and polished being sung by professionals, not a college choir.
This is my favorite arrangement of this piece. You did a beautiful job. Thank you.
Only the Lord Christ could inspire such beautiful music approaching the sound of an angelic chorus in the heavenly realm. Fabulous! Thank-you
Blessed be the Lord and Merry Christmas to All!
And a very Merry Christmas to you!! =)
My husband got to sing under Mack Wilberg with 200 other vocal warriors in the BYU Men's Choir before Mack was director of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir (Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints) when he composed this arrangement. It is electric and surreal to be in the Conference Center and hear this sung by all the famous people that have sung this arrangement with the Tabernacle Choir, Temple Square Orchestra (which I used to be in), and bell ringers! You don't need to die to experience a little bit of heaven! ;)
"Glória a Deus nas alturas..." é o meu hino preferido de Natal.
Me too
Well done!
Beautiful Christmas piece!
i wish it was a live video, i do love this song

Hi there Jose Luis Bollera
Absolutely beautiful! Perfect blend, great dynamics, and a superb orchestra! Love it! :D
Awesome
The announcement of a savior being born is only good news to those who need saving. I am one of those
Angels we have heard on high
Sweetly singing o'er the plains,
And the mountains in reply
Echoing their joyous strains
REFRAIN:
Gloria, in Excelsis Deo
Gloria, in Excelsis Deo
Shepherds, why this jubilee?
Why your joyous strains prolong?
What the gladsome tidings be,
Which inspire your heavenly song?
REFRAIN:
Gloria, in Excelsis Deo
Gloria, in Excelsis Deo
Come to Bethlehem and see
Him whose birth the angels sing;
Come, adore on bended knee,
Christ the Lord, the newborn King.
REFRAIN:
Gloria, in Excelsis Deo
Gloria, in Excelsis Deo
Shepherds, why this jubilee?
Why your joyous strains prolong?
What the gladsome tidings be,
Which inspire your heavenly song?
See Him in a manger laid
Whom the choirs of angels praise;
Mary, Joseph, lend your aid,
While our hearts in love we raise.
REFRAIN:
Gloria, in Excelsis Deo
Gloria, in Excelsis Deo
Gloria-ria
Gloria
I LOOOVE THIS OMG.
It must have been quite an experience to have seen this as it unfolded~
So wonderful.
Angels we have heard on high
Sweetly singing o’er the plains
And the mountains in reply
Echoing their joyous strains
CHORUS:
Gloria, in excelsis Deo!
Gloria, in excelsis Deo!
Shepherds, why this jubilee?
Why your joyous strains prolong?
What the gladsome tidings be
Which inspire your heavenly song?
Chorus
Come to Bethlehem and see
Him Whose birth the angels sing;
Come, adore on bended knee,
Christ the Lord, the newborn King.
Chorus
See Him in a manger laid
Jesus Lord of heaven and earth;
Mary, Joseph, lend your aid,
With us sing our Savior's birth.
Chorus
Surely we should not doubt, for we have God's pure words inspired and preserved to us forever in the Holy Bible.
Paul Gruendler Amen
