This is an old, unfinished model, but one that I've had a few requests to show. So, as promised, here's the massive Top Hat/Zip custom I made in 2014/2015. I have to say this is a very fine custom Top Hat. I'm rather surprised there aren't many more custom TUGS models people make. Glad to see our Railway Tug friend be your first custom model.

Captain Starr- we've just about had enough of Top Hat's Insults!
It'd be nice if TUGS came back, maybe even starting as a T&F crossover.
I've often imagined Thomas being at the docks and then hearing a particular horn blaring.
Thomas looks in the direction of the sound to see Ten Cents sat aside the dock after bringing in a ship.
That was actually going to happen in Magic Railroad, but Britt was heavily against the idea so it was sadly scrapped.
Anyone remember big Mickey coming back? If the show didn't end in 2017 we could have gotten the rest of the tugs....

That is an awesome Top Hat model Max! I'm actually astonished how nice it looks, particularly as the face casts fit flush with the wheelhouse!

That model is the coolest
I tried making this out of popsicle sticks, it didn’t look as great as yours but it worked enough for me and could really use some upgrades. I made 1 model to display in my room and one to put in water. It sank in 10 minutes but lost a few parts because I used tape and it got weak when wet. My new design will involve Glue and Tape will most likely be used to reinforce the model. But I will use some tips from this video.

That's a great model you made Max. I'd like to make one like that, and I hope that the company will find the original model someday. I've decided to look for the model in my part of the country, or I can look over at Shepperton Studios where the series was original filmed and I've asked my Uncle to look for it in his part of the county because he's looking for stuff as well.
