I made Minecraft into the Perfect VR Game using Mods!

For this video I wanted to try and make minecraft into the most perfect and immersive VR game!
What I found was we can get pretty close to perfect by using only four mods!
I had a ton of fun making this video I ended up with over 6 hours of footage so hopefully you will all enjoy it! :)

You should try distant horizons! Though, it's not compatible with most shaders, it lets you see mountains incredibly far away which really adds to immersion. Overall your video was super entertaining!
i tried installing that and id always get errors, can someone please help lol
What shaders is it compatible with
@@salatzar4426 I’m not sure about fabric, but in the forge version it works with complementary and sildurs I believe. With those two you have to fiddle with fog settings in distant horizons and the shader itself. Hope this helped.
@@withervortex5429 I wouldnt use it with shaders tbh just because the shadows do not render in the distance and it makes the transition of the LOD far easier to see. Looks really ugly.
I feel this wouldn't really be worth it in VR, the way VR is experienced you wouldn't actually see far away very much.
Off of the topic of minecraft, I loved the video itself. Like the editing, your personality, all that cool stuff. Continue doing what you do, I really wonder how you don't have anymore subscribers than you do now!

You could add the "Fresh Animations" texture pack which adds things like the eyes moving, Pillager running realistic etc.

@@jakeanjo125 i have i5 and intel hd graphics 3000 so you can run it too(you need optifine or the textures wont go as planned)

this is without trapdoors so you're kinda stuck if you have none
This looks like if mc was made in like 2030. The physics really drive everything home, and is so trippy to see. The new menu mod is pretty sick and reminds me of into the radius vr where you have a backpack to carry everything. Will defo try this out, assuming my pc doesnt blow up💀

The Immersive portals mod would be so awesome. The mod basically changes portals from the old and boring purple glow, to an actual portal between worlds that doesn't require you to load in. Would love to see it here. Other then that great video I can see you becoming big!
This and multiplayer. I want to know if it is compatible because this could be a fun group thing to do
@@trashcaster Yep! It is completely compatible with multiplayer. Just a bit unsynched but that's not a problem.
Immersive portals are not fully compatible with the physics mod

@@RyanClifford Definitely do, it’s a really nice way to keep the talking parts engaging.
If you're already playing on fabric why not use Sodium, Lithium, and Phosphorus. They are all performance mods that take a zero draw backs approach to optimizing the game. All of the mods work together and they all improve performance in single player (even though one of them is aimed at server performance). And if you're using shaders then I hope you're using Iris Shaders because it's built off of Sodium.
This is most likely using forge as vivecraft ported over to fabric has issues with shaders
@@citrinefool Vivecraft has been dependent on sodium and iris since it was ported. Sodium is just packaged with Vivecraft.

Complementary shaders has a built in settings menu that you can access from the in-game shader menu that lets you pick from potato to ultra settings. The default setting is very high. It's very customizable.
For whatever reason I've tried to get that shaderpack to work and it won't. I'm using the curseforge app and I can launch the better adventures+ mod and the shaders work fine. I assume I'm doing somthing wrong when I try to set it up myself?
Do you have optifine / sodium + iris
Now someone has to make a mod that fits inside these ones, goes for the doors, model out a handle for the door and put it on so when you have to open a door, you actually grab a handle, twist, and pull it.

I recommend adding Sound Physics to this mix, to make big caves even more immersive.
immersive portals is a good mod to add. It's more of a QOL mod, like the enchanced inventory thing, but it really helps with the immersion of the game, making seamless portals, which is really cool

@@RyanClifford oops i forgot to mention distant horizons which can increase your render distance to pretty much infinity and it can sometimes increase FPS by using the same code that allows every other open-world games to show the entire world by making things lower quality the farther out you are from that area. (keep in mind that shaders only work with optifine when using distant horizons so that could be an issue if optifine isnt being used, or choose if you want more render distance or shaders)
Also, I'm not 100% sure if immersive portals work with vivecraft because it's in fabric, but im sure there is a forge port somewhere, and if it does still work, it can create a pretty insane experience, while still keeping the minecraft aspect to the game, but im sorry if immersive portals doesn't work, but if it it does, then that's great!
@@mridiot57 immersive portals is only fabric, so i dont know how well that would work with distant horizons, u prob wouldnt be able to use shaders :(

Would love to try this, if Vivecraft didn't run at like 20fps on my PC, along with Oculus Link/Air Link and Virtual Desktop being pretty bad. Maybe I could try QuestCraft, assuming most of these mods have Fabric support. (and they don't lag my quest 1) Also, subscribed.
In theory I think it would work? I think fabric runs of quest craft and everything I've shown is on fabric. But I've never tried it myself so I could be completely wrong 🤣

I was wondering when you put your shaders on is what kind of pc specs do you have? Because I need to make sure my pc is able to run all those high demanding shaders.
Hey there! I've got a 3080ti and a 5950x and even then I needed to use the light shader pack and it was playable. Anything above that and the fps tanked a lot!

I was surprised to find you were such a small youtuber with such good content the CZcams algorithm is so bad because there are people putting in half the effort you do with hundreds of thousands of subs.

You can add "sound Physics Remastered" to add things like echo in caves and mod called "Ambient Sounds 5" which adds A LOT of new ambient sounds for biomes!

Auditory (improves block and item placement sounds)
Presence Footsteps (adds better footstep sounds)
ExtraSounds (adds some small sounds to the inventories)
AmbientSounds 5 (adds background ambience)
Illuminations (Adds fireflies and some particles)
Visuality (also adds some more particles)
Sound Physics Remastered (cave echo!)
RESOURCE PACKS:
Fresh Animations (resource pack, requires optifine)
Stay True (improves the look of blocks, makes them immersive, parts of the resource pack require optifine but are not needed)
Torches Reimagined (Adds 3D torches, needs optifine)
Fancy: GUI Overhaul (improves gui of some stuff, idk if it will break some of the mods listed in your video)
Enhanced Boss Bars (makes boss bars better)
Note: Mods / Resource Packs I listed here may be between fabric and forge so all of these wont be able to all be put together.

I also suggest adding the structural integrity mod and dynamic trees for even more realisms can customize how much integrity blocks and items have to like the physics it has plus the trees can be chopped realistically

Honestly. Cobblemon is pretty fun. Seeing the pokemon model's run around you really makes you feel like your on a actual pokemon journey. (Yes im aware this isnt very vanilla plus) tho i wish there was an addon that let us actually throw our pokemon out instead of pressing a key xD

You have to try distant horizons. It basically gives you infinite render distance with almost no lag. It’s amazing in vr

I think when you add fresh animations it's gonna be complete!
You should try using photo realistic textures to enhance the experience even more
You can go prone in vanilla Minecraft and go through 1x1 spaces. You just can't enter that position with any keys. It's only under certain situation.
Side note: you don't have to subscribe to get the pro version of the physics mod anymore. It's all free.
