Hover 1 rally scooter review lasted one ride, don't buy it!!

- although this seems like a high-quality product on the surface, it took only a few minutes worth of used to realize that it is inferior and every way too coparable products buy gotrax, jetson are bird. This is a junkie scooter and I wouldn't recommend putting a child on one at anytime. The accelerator housing broke on the first trip with it because it's held on by 1/32 of an inch of plastic.the same is true of the brakes, so anytime you could lose your break or accelerator by pressing too hard

I bought the same scooter. The only thing for me is the handle bar that connects to the front wheel is a little wiggly and it makes me anxious. But for everything else it works great for me. I’ve rode a ton already and I just got it. It works fine going up hill you just got give a few kicks off the ground to help support it. I don’t know I haven’t had any of the issues your having with yours.
Maybe i got a bad one, idk. It was on sale because they discontinued the model I think. There's like four or five models that look the same but are fairly different performance-wise. I also bought a used ninebot Max off of Craigslist they ended up being a refurbished or stolen lift scooter that only made it a block before it failed. The moral of the story for me is save up the money to get a really nice scooter like a dualtron if you can afford to because it's waàay better!
Jack Daniel yeah I get that. My next question is did you buy a warranty when you purchased their product. Because online they say that there is a limited time free warranty for any damaged parts to the scooter. For me the scooter was worth so far. Especially for the price but I’ll let you know if anything does happen to it and how I deal with getting that fixed and such
@@itsralph_c318 no I didn't buy the warranty because I bought it in the store and they just returned it with no hassle.
Jack Daniel makes sense. I’m about to take it to Best Buy today to get this weird noise checked out. I don’t think it anything but I’d rather be safe than sorry so I’ll let you know what they say
Jack Daniel so Best Buy doesn’t do repairs they are literally just sending me a whole new one. So hopefully this next one will be better lol
Can anybody tell me where the battery is on this scooter my green light is just staying on on my charger not indicating when the red comes on that it's charging I need help
I just picked one of these up for free myself because it won't charge at all.
So far after cleaning it up and inspecting it looks to be that the batteries in the vertical handlebar.
There's a very small amount of space that a flat battery could fit where you stand on it, but there's no wiring connecting the base to the handlebar.
I'm working on it as I speak, I'll try to let you know if I get any progress
Hmmm.... bought it on discount so likely it was either returned and remanufactured, certified, or an old item that they needed to replace. That plastic doesn’t just break off, you cranked down on that lever. You even proved that with you forcing the brake lever assembly to turn. I just bought mine today. As for the handles unscrewing off, they are put on counter clockwise with a metal connector that creates friction to prevent them from coming off. Every single thing you have listed is a outcome of pure abuse to the device.
I bought it in a best buy near park Meadows mall brand new, but you would know
I found one of these scooters in the trash and I charged it fully and it died in like 2 blocks
Curious on your weight too cause there a weight limit I think it was 240lbs. It's worked for years. Didn't know if you don't use it for a few months then battery isn't no good. Contacted the company only cover the scooter for 90 days... And they don't sell a battery for it...
Mines is not holding a charge my green light is just staying on the red is not never flashing indicating it's charging what can I do help me out
@@ryanlumpkins7461 I just picked up one of these for free from somebody in my city. It's likely the charging port or like with most lithium batteries they go bad.
Since this was manufactured in 2018 it's very difficult to find a replacement battery for it even on the manufacturer's website which is still up supporting this product.
I'm troubleshooting it as I respond to you, wish me luck lol
I got it like a year ago I’m just trying to figure out where to buy a front wheel tire of the scotter
Bruh ive had mine about 4 months and the front wheel is smooth but it runs fine im looking for just the tire too cuz i prolly did over 50 miles on mine

Look online for the unagi scooters. You can get it on payments of $50/mo. It's a legit asf scooter and you'll be happy
Mine has about 850 miles on it and the only problem i have is the battery dies fast, goes about 3 miles and runs out of battery

I got 800km on my scooter like this I need the lcd display cuz it got water damage

They are janky asf. Did you know unagi scooters will let you rent to own one of theirs for $50/mo? Go that route!
do not buy this scooter!!...when it gets overcharged purposely or accidentally...it burns out...what exactly??, I don’t know...if it’s the battery, your finished because the battery can not be replaced on this model...it’s extremely difficult to get to the battery...besides I don’t even think they have the replacement battery for this scooter period...its almost like they didn’t want you to remove the battery at all...smh
Yeah I have found that anything under about $600 is just kids stuff
The company told me if you also don't use it or don't charge it for a few months after using the battery will stop working.. That's my problem now haven't used it in months and charged it and it doesn't turn on now...

Yeah unfortunately, in order to get into something decent and you got to spend over $1,000. I researched them ever since I put this video up and I think Brands like dualtron and City Coco how much better. With the city Coco Brands you can buy multiple batteries and extend the range hundreds of miles
