- These delinquents don't realize they are cursing a war veteran who just returned from Vietnam
Decorated Vietnam hero Frank Vega returns home only to get shunned by society leaving him without a job or his high school sweetheart. It's not until forty years later when an incident on a commuter bus (where he protects an elderly black man from a pair of skin heads) makes him a local hero where he's suddenly celebrated once again. But his good fortune suddenly turns for the worse when his best friend Klondike is murdered and the police aren't doing anything about it.
Thank you for watching.

Little bit of a language gap I believe but you're also watching a spark notes robot voice rundown of a movie so like, no biggie right?
The morale of this lesson, if you see Danny Trejo on a Movie you know itll be fun
He can carry a bad movie like the rock does at 1/100 the budget.
It's about time that there is a movie called "BADASS" starring Danny Trejo, because he really is a god damn badass!
Absolutely! Danny Trejo always brings the fun to the screen!
The moment they stole buses i had to stop watching. I find it hilarious so many movies explain the protagonist's expert fighting ability by just saying he was in the military...
Yea it annoying
Well... just because they're old, doesn't mean they forgot how to fight back, that's what PTSD is for. :shrugs:
@@sainttan i didn't say it gad anything to do with being old. I'm stating people don't become expert fighters just because they joined the Army.
He also had a rough life..tends to make you able to kickass..I know
@@likefire1617 lol. Yeah right. I'll take your word for it...
The moral of this movies is true , if I knew the character guy background , I wouldn’t have mess with you already
Knowing someone's background can definitely change your perspective!
You put a lot of work into these re-caps, thank you.
Thank you for appreciating the effort! Glad you enjoyed the recap!
Love this movie! The older I get, the more fun it is to watch the old man school some young thundercats!
The man was a Vietnam veteran, I never underestimate those guys after what they went through
Absolutely, the strength and resilience of Vietnam veterans are unmatched.
If only the police academy had accepted him, none of this would have happened.
1:40 since when are cops nice here i thought he was going behind bars
Honestly most cops are nice,
Why isn’t it on Wikipedia you ask? Why isn’t every food u are on Wikipedia
(Yes I have had ppl ask why there isn’t much evidence and cite wiki)
Sometimes, even in the toughest situations, there's a glimmer of humanity.
I watched this and the second one like four times. I love this dude
Who doesn't love Danny
Glad to hear you're a fan! It's definitely a memorable movie!
Thanks what a great moive so good 👍
Glad you enjoyed it! It's definitely a great movie!
Sometimes life takes unexpected turns. His journey is quite a tale indeed!
They didnt know they were up against the Machete
They were definitely in for a surprise facing the Machete himself!
I never knew about the vietnam war until I played call of duty black ops 1 when I was 11 then I respected vietnam war vets respect the vets they died fighting
so right !
Absolutely! It's always best to approach any situation with caution!
Excellent ! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the recap!
I forgot about this movie. The real guy's whole story is really sad, after his 15 minutes of fame he went back to being homeless and as far as I know was/is still unmedicated and not being treated for his mental illnesses. Hell, I don't even know if EBM is still alive.
The sad part is that the person needs to want to take the meds, they cant force him. Very hard to convince someone with mental illness to trust doctos, let alone anyone.
Are you sure he was homeless? He didn’t look homeless to me.
They did 2 sequels, Frank's life got better.
It's unfortunate when reality doesn't match the movie's ending. His story is indeed a poignant one.
Great this recap, I liked all the movies from the "Bad ass" sequel.
Glad you enjoyed the recap! The Bad Ass series sure packs a punch!
Such a good movie
Danny Trejo such a good actor ❤️
Danny Trejo's performances always leave an impression!
Love the movie
Love the happy ending. Cheers from Michael. Australia.
Cheers to you too, Michael! Glad you enjoyed the happy ending!
My great grandpa was in Korean war far worse than Vietnam and he said there were more of them then there were bullets. He killed many Korean/Chinese he also said they were Chinese and Korean fighting Americans he never talked about it till he was about to die of cancer.
May wanna change grandma to grandpa.
@@pab1381 ty I didn't see that autocorrect
Hahahaha, is this entire movie based on that badass veteran gramps who kicked that guys ass on the bus?!?!?! That’s fucking awesome! That guys immortalized for something other than the meme of him crying during the news interview.
Often very violent people don't like the fact they are violent.
I need an ambalamps after watching this 🤣🤣
Absolutely! Frank Vega's legendary moment became the stuff of movies!
It's gonna be fun if Danny Trejo is in it.
It's Machete staring in the movie.
Ya love all his flims coz it got boobies 🤣🤣
Danny Trejo's presence always adds an extra layer of excitement to any movie!
nice
The real guy lives in Oakland CA and I think there are several videos on him.
This actually happened somewhat like this in real life. The difference was that it was a "White" Vietnam war veteran and black attackers. MSM likes to switch it up like this. You can still find the video on CZcams
This should be a pinned comment. I disliked this video and refuse to watch the movie.
I like this
All the Bad Ass movies are great
Never heard about this movie but sound great just wish the hadn’t told me the whole story. Got to watch it.
That was nice! Anyone fancy checking our recaps after this amazing one? Cheers!
Moral of the story, don't antagonize a man wearing a shirt that reads "I Am A Motherfucker". #ACTransitFight
Reminds me of that part in GTAV when Trevor shot a bunch of hipsters because one of them was wearing a shirt that says "Yes You Are A Motherfucker."
i hope you reach millions subs bro
Thank you! We appreciate the support!
He was on the bus returning from a trip to Little Vietnam in Los Angeles. He was getting takeout.
A trip to Little Vietnam sounds like an adventure!
Delinquent is like the word of the week for this channel lol. Danny Trejo is like 5’4 in real life. I used to think he was a big dude.
Wait what?!
Danny Trejo might not be tall, but he's definitely larger than life on screen!
Oh yea I’m old enough now that I know for a fact that panther got Life, if not death, and mayor dude prolly got an ankle monitor
Frank would have upgraded an AR to fully automatic...and hosed em.
holy shit i forgot about this movie, my first time getting high i watched this stoned with my older brother while muching on snacks
He was great in Son's of Anarchy.
Indeed, he made quite an impact in Sons of Anarchy as well!
You don't mess with Machete.
good old movie
You don’t mess with a military veteran you don’t know what kind of training he or she had
90% of military members are non-combatants.
Just because one is in the military does not mean they get training in fighting. They barely teach Navy Master at Arms any self-defense outside of ASP and Tasers, and possibly joint manipulation.
@@josephhodges9819 I’m a US Army Cold War Veteran (1983-1986) and in Basic Training we were given hand to hand combat training, at least for Infantry. Though I did take martial arts from the time I was 12 until I was 18. True not all Military personnel get that training, but alot do.
@@veteranhoffman6776 I was in the Navy and stationed in London and they brought a handful of Marines to teach the Master at Arms Joint manipulation and pressure points. I found out that bending my thumb back has no effect but damn bend the ring finger back and ouch.
so he took over someone's else family
His name is Machete not Frank
Movie looks bad ass.
0:59 that logo is the Nigerian coat of arms. Pretty cool detail
“ Frank rushes to the location” cut to Frank getting on a bus.
Dude went to Vietnam at 50 years old and just got back. Klondike Washington? They couldn't think of a better name.
Danny is a real good Guy....Hope he still has that old Chevy Truck....Danny used to bring it to Bob's for the Friday Night Car Show.....Take care , Brother..
Danny Trejo is not only a talented actor but also a great person!
I Agree !@@recapkingofficial
i returned from vietnam tour in 1969 got so bored i went to bars just to get in fights. did that for a couple of months then got a job im settled down now mostly
Thank you for your service hope your doing well
me too, but it took longer. years longer. now, lookin back@wasted yrs. watchin for some to apologize to for their hurts i caused. just stupid.
Kitchen trash can and garbage disposal are two way different things when it comes to 'hurting' your hand.

Are you serious, I am just about to put this film on tonight. Which means I'll watch your vid in the morning.
Enjoy the movie! Hope you find the recap even more enjoyable afterward!
Klondike..... I mean damn dude. Really?
I see Clay's still doing shady business.
The kitchen trash can? LMAOO
Watching this recap and realizing, portions of this movie we’re filmed 2 blocks from my home !
That's pretty cool! Must be interesting to see your neighborhood on the big screen!
I guess the movie makers saw that real Vietnam vet fight the amberlamps dude on that city bus. Then said, what if Machete!?
Isn't Danny Trejo wearing the same outfit as the guy in the bus who beat up the other guy, at some point? I even thought it was just loosely based on that encounter and they went with it. 😂
Not one mention of "Epic Beard Man" for whom this story is loosely based on...
Bit silly that locket and bullet cases were still there months down the line
They tried to make a fuss on the buss
3:58 that was the longest shooting scene
The whole time he still had his cap on. Sigh.
Moral of the Story:
Dont fuck with Danny Trejo
Don't ever, under estimate your opponent!! I learned that in after school sports in 5th grade!! Montana Rick.
That's a valuable lesson indeed! Montana Rick knows his stuff!
1:51 I was in discord and heard breathing over a mic and though one of my buds was trolling me but then realized it came from the video
Too bad he didn't get the chance to beat the hellboy out of Ron Perlman's character, I would watch that on repeat for hours.
That would be quite a showdown! The stuff of movie dreams!
Movie name please
Im surprised folks dont know this is loosely based on a real story of a video that went viral some years back. Has its on Wikipedia page AC Transit Bus fight.
They could have just made the movie where the thugs didn't realize they were screwing with Danny Trejo.
Trejo is 5'6. Not sure why movies try to portray him as an intimidating guy.
orignal audio please.
"Assigned To The Vietnam War" WTF? For 10 Years? Really? Piss Poor story line!!
Klondike the ice cream?
I don't know why people in movies tend to pick on those who already look scary and intimidating.
It's an interesting dynamic, isn't it? People often underestimate appearances!
Before Son's of Anarchy Clay was a corrupt mayor
10 years in Vietnam? I don't think so. Beating an entire basketball team? Maybe if they were all 7 year old's.
Danny Trejo looks a bit like Teenwolf in this flick...
Anyone else reminded of that one viral bus video where the old war veteran beat up some black kid that was being a douche? I think it's the fannypack. But here they changed it to a mexican beating up some skin heads.
I’m a 56 year old US Army Cold War Veteran, young punks aways are underestimating me too, besides being Military trained I had a black belt by time I was 18 before joining 😏
Danny Trejo, gets some great exposure but many story lines are Slim
MORAL OF THE STORY: Remove all internal and external card readers on computers.
until woods beat them up
The morale of the story. If u saw a person with a face like this, better dont fx with him.
What about Frank James?
I saw these movies with Charles Bronson, called Death Wish.
I always knew Hellboy and Roc were corrupt.
Your channel should be renamed as "Moral King" 😀
Don't anyone underestimate me. I can do that myself.
The real moral to the story..... Flash drives are like four bucks at walmart,,,,Make copies and "give up the flash drive",,,,,No big deal....
Why do they keep using these decrepit old guys as action heroes? I watched 69 years old Liam Neeson in his latest tough guy movie the other night. The man can barely run. Danny Trejo is 77 FFS. Yet there he is beating up groups of guys twice his size and less than half his age. Not only that he gets the girl, young enough to be his granddaughter at the end. Talk about wishful thinking.
Couldn't find a more interesting mcGuffin than a flash drive?
don't fvck with uncle machete!
Trying to make a fuss on the bus.
You don't want to mess with Danny Trejo..even in the real life
I wish hollywood would take a break on the " evil white male villain" narrative, its getting real old especially after reading the recent DOJ and FBI statistics for violent crime.
Where is Amber Lamps?
Infinity the space between ears GOD BLESS US All too hear the word PEACE
Two actors here who were really incarcerated in real life for heavy crime
Moral Lesson:
NEVER MESS WITH A MACHETE GUY
