I absolutely get the joke. I have joined in with this community's commenting trend because I find it hilarious. I was playing the role of someone thinking it was a lookalike because The Seven are very famous and it's common for people to get plastic surgery/hairstyles/etc like famous women. IE: how the Japanese public used to be so obsessed with idol group AKB48 that women were getting plastic surgery to look like them, or how dresses and outfits would sell out if one of the UK royal family wore it. Or that weird guy who tried to look like Jimin from BTS except he's white.
Shame we had to break immersion for that but the more you know, I suppose! In a world where I obliviously loved superheroes and Maeve came out you bet as a queer woman I'd have been buying all her merch and shit and be tweeting her support and marriage proposals. She was such an inspiration. My 13 year old daughter came out to me as a lesbian because of her and I am just glad that with the last time she had left on earth, she was able to live free. As a brave, inspirational lesbian. She will be missed dearly but will forever live on in our hearts, memories and of course her legendary movies. Rest in Peace Queen Maeve.

I owe Maeve a lot more credit than I've given her. A long time ago, back in 4th grade, I was on a field trip, and then on the way there, the bus was going too fast because it was raining that day and the road was really slippery. When I thought I was as good as dead, Maeve was able to stop the bus right before it could crash. A few weeks later, after being hospitalized, I started physical therapy because I broke my leg, I was pretty upset that my lucky break from school turned into a disaster, but that's when Maeve came by to see me. She explained that she didn't have it so good either, she said that she almost lost her right arm trying to save me and those other kids, she visited me everyday at my physical therapy sessions until I recovered and that alone was enough to get me through day, she inspires me to hope even to this day. When I found out on the news that she died trying to stop soldier boy, I lost my đ©, I was balling my little eyes out, I was yelling and screaming at the top of my lungs, and I barely left my room. Even now, I always think to myself that I haven't given her enough credit for what she did that day, that I should've shown her more gratitude, but I don't think I have to worry about that anymore. She's inspiring in death as she was in life, R.I.P brave Maeve.
