On another hand, in the original, Kylie Jenner tosses a wig over her shoulder... counting on someone else to catch it before it lands... which is, of course, a female Black assistant. Wealthy white person impulsively leaving a mess for a woman of color to clean up, was *chef's kiss*.
They pretty brilliantly parodied/satired how ridiculously stupid "rainbow" capitalism has turned into.
Any and all marginalized communities will be repackaged, commodified, and sold.

As on the nose as these scenes can be sometimes, they offer a much funnier parody of corporate culture than any other media out there.
That’s part of the reason why The Boys is so memorable. Corporate America is an infestation we see all the time and can’t get away from. The layman knows it’s rotten and fringe but (usually) can’t put into words why. The Boys at the very least gets it
It’s honestly mind blowing that an entire multi-billion dollar marketing team pitched, discussed, voted on, planned, filmed, edited, and aired this commercial without a single person, going “yo uhhhh, don’t you think this might be a lil fucked up?” It truly amazes me how A-Train never fails to disappoint, even when we expect nothing.

Another home run for the Vought Marketing team. They're not afraid to tackle contemporary issues in a way that's realistic and down to earth and in no way tone deaf. I will definitely be buying some Turbo Rush.

I was 9 when my brother had cancer and was in the hospital. A-Train was such a kind soul that he came to cheer him up, something that no one else in The Seven did. My brother did want to see Translucent, but he was unavailable. A-Train wasn't his favorite hero, but he still showed up and promised to help him be very fast. Sadly, my brother passed away the next day, almost like something had run into him. Thank you A-Train for giving him a final lasting memory.

This commercial was truly groundbreaking. A-Train has quite literally taken a lot of people's breaths away by running through discrimination. His heart is just too pure that it could've bursted.

Guys I actually have a story to tell about A-train. Back before Popclaw's tragic death, me and my brother used to be heavily addicted to heroine. On the same day Popclaw died, A-train ran across me and my brother. He instantly grabbed all of the needles we had, before he zipped away he looked my brother in the eyes and told him "Don't tell a single soul about this, or else I'll have to come back here." I can't believe A-train was going out of his way. . .out of his way to save me and my brother from such a crippling addiction. Me and my brother took A-train's kind words and realized that we needed help. It's sad that 5 minutes after that interaction it was said that Popclaw passed away from a Heroine overdose. . .maybe that's why A-train was so against the stuff. Thank you A-train. . .for being such a great hero, you have the heart of an honorable, calm, peaceful man that'd do anything for the black community. ❤❤
