Nice! Tabs are super helpful , thankyou! At time 12:18 the back and forth slide 5/7 to 55 on the tab it's incorrect, should be on the high B and E strings not G and B strings, probably a typing error .
@@JulesGuitar ha I was just about to type exactly the same thing! Good video - some nice licks in there, however the title is slightly misleading as obviously you're transposing each lick to fit the chords - which is fine but then you can do that with absolutely any lick - transpose it to a different position and it will then match another chord if you know a lick is say a lick to suit a G7 chord if you move it up 2 frets it will be then an A7 chord lick and so on. It's all good though. 👌I was gonna sub you...but I just noticed I already have done sometime before...
Your teaching method and tabs here are spectacular and what a great little riff to pick through and learn on an easy Sunday morning. Thank you for putting this together!
Jules, You really are a Exellent Musician/Teacher, I just wish there was all this 50yrs ago!!!...Thanx so much for the tyme & effort into your Lesson"s!!!...Cheers Mate!!.....
You are a great guitar teacher Jules. Many thanks for these awesome blues riffs. Keep them coming!! Thanks a lot for this great lesson Jules. Cheers,Ron
12:13 05/05/2023 Like the others have said, Thank you for these great, understandable lessons. Finally, I can see how chords, patterns, and riffs go together.
GREAT GUITAR LESSON, from a GREAT GUITAR TEACHER!!! Ur lessons are laid out n a smart and understandable way. You are going to have a ton of subs bc you have a knack for conveying the information and getting to the point w out playing ovr the heads of Ur subs, like many people do, they play more for the sake of" look at what I can do" rather than worrying if people actually understand what you are doing!!! Rare but important!!
I just got back into playing after several years when my son took up playing. I stumbled on your videos looking for ways to get my chops back. I can see now I wasted countless hours of my youth memorizing every possible scale, but never really mastered linking them. I knew the what, but your videos explain the how and the why. This is all laid out simply and easily and makes me wish I would've stumbled on these videos back in the day!
С большим удовольствием смотрю Ваши уроки. Это просто супер - всё понятно и разборчиво. Благодаря Вашим урокам я заметно продвинулся и развиваюсь в игре. Hey bud, I’ve been checking out your channel a lot lately and wanted to say thanks! I’m an old shredder from the 80’s school of Shrapnel Records, Yngwie and yes, spandex/aquanet🤣 I’m addicted to the sound of speed, and just can’t seem to help myself from shredding even though I know it doesn’t fit the jam. So thanks for showing me how to slow down and how great it can sound! Great channel👍
You have become my FAV teacher out there! I am having so much fun with these licks! My confidence for improvising is growing ! I am an intermediate player of folk americana but this is just great fun and so many take aways that i will be able to transfer in other stuff! Thanks a million!!!
Great video,a hammer away, I am holding my breath on hitting the 3rd string on the first note with my bars,as long as they are counted, thanks very greatful, lesson learned.
Thank you! This is great video, and I'm hoping that you do not object to my posting of the following approximate "start times" to help myself and others navigate around it: Riff #1 @ 0:53 Riff #2 @ 3:39 Riff #3 @ 6:33 Riff #4 @ 9:01 Riff #5 @ 11:08
You must be cool!!! I have exact same guitar, same color :).....no you cool anyway!!, cause you donate your time to helping others and it is very appreciated. Thank you for you!!!!
You're a great teacher! I really hope you setup something to commercialise your lessons, to enable you to make more lessons and tutorials. I would certainly be happy to sign up... 👍 On an unrelated note - I think a video outlining your guitar cleaning/maintenance regime would also be amazing - as your instruments always look superb... ✨
PS - I went out this afternoon and bought a Tidepool Player Strat, after seeing your videos! It will make a nice companion for a Seafoam Green Telecaster that I love... 💚 Here's hoping Fender is listening... 😁
Hi Jules. I really enjoy your videos. thank you very much. I need help bout a problem. I recently bought a Fender Player Strat. When i bend a bit hardly on D, A and top E strings in 3. 4.5. positions, strings pop out from nut. Is that normal? What is your experience. What would you recommend? Thank you.
What fender series is that? Is it the Vintera? I wish they’d do the ice blue in the classic. They don’t do that colour for all Strats and they should it’s one of the nicest.

Yes, you are right - how did I miss that?! Will pin the comment for anyone else watching.

Great riffs! Where can we find that backing track? Thanks!
Soo good. Kob kun mak karb.
👌👏👏👏
🌹❤🌹
Seems like an edit might be needed for the tabs on riff #5 though?
sir plz provide the backing track to practice
Well I think that's the most my face has ever been controlled by the lick I'm playing I think I'm finally starting to feel the music lol
What fender series is that? Is it the Vintera? I wish they’d do the ice blue in the classic. They don’t do that colour for all Strats and they should it’s one of the nicest.
It's Player Series in Tidepool (I bought it just because of colour)
Merci !
Backing track available on You tube ??
What a great A D E A 🤣
Hy My Big brother l like you please , you can be My teacher of guitar solo
I'm a beginner and really missing rythm and note values
Funny thing. I just said being comfortable playing a chord can lead to greater things. This comes up in my feed. So no one is listening 😂
Unwatchable, soooooo many ads.
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 That’s beautiful Sir. As always you are the best teacher.
Thanks!
Thanks!!!
