Nice video! But I would like to add my 2 cents. As I work on geothermal units from close loops to open loops..etc. This system needs PT ports, boiler drains and ball valves. Then you could’ve checked water, temperature and pressure delta t’s and then isolated the system and flushed the system loop. Placing refrigerant gauges on a geothermal is always the last resort. Like I said just my 2 cents. Keep up the good work 👍🏻

This buildings installation is horrible. Only in a perfect world would it be installed correctly. And clients never want to pay to correct it. Thanks for watching.

Probably a dirty Water Condenser loop or inlet strainer.

What about air locking? Or water circuit flowrate?

I have a water source HP with some issues,in cooling cycle the hi head pressure switch trips,in heating mode low pressure switch trips, its an old Florida Heatpump that's had problems before,I've also noticed that someone replaced the txv on unit,my suction pressure runs around 50 psi in heating when it starts up,then falls to about 20 psi in about 2 minutes,I thought at first it was overcharged bc in cool head pressure runs up to 375 and shuts off on hi head pressure, but I dont understand why when in heating it drops so low on suction pressure it trips low pressure switch, have any ideas for me?the water flow is sufficient, around 50 to 60 psi is what it runs, could the txv be the problem??

      Was the bulb properly insulated?
High head can come from air in the lines or a blockage with the water. Reverse the flow and/or blow down from the supply side. If not, may need to run some descaled through. But most likely the high head is coming from a clogged water line (or tube/ fin) in the compressor

If it was locked out, why was the high limit closed>'
    ?

When the high pressure switch trips open 3 times it energies a lockout relay which shuts down the unit. Once the pressures equalize the high pressure switch resets to closed.

Every body here want to see the back flush u didn't show. It was no need to remove the strainer just by doing a back flush would it be ok
