Thanks Dani for keeping us happy by your Elvis Reactions.. Ray Bernal here from San Antonio Texas... God Bless you
Uncle J-Man here. I just can’t get enough of Elvis especially young Elvis. ❤️❤️
Hi Danny, This was before the waist up performances. If you see the next apperance of the same song on the Dorsey Brothers show you would see the full on Elvis moves. It is one of my favorite performances. I hope you check it out sometime.
This never gets old Elvis music is timeless been a fan even tho I'm not old enough to of ever seen him perform
Yep he is timeless
Thanks Dani for keeping Elvis’ music alive💙and thank you for Thank You Very Much Thursdays!
Thanks for being part of the channel!!
Thanks for this reaction, glad you are back to "thank you very much Thursdays ". I have missed them. Young Elvis was so exciting and adorable. I don’t remember this performance on the Dorsey Brothers, but it was one of his first national TV performances. It was before the Milton Berle, Steve Allen and Ed Sullivan appearances, so I doubt they were purposely filming fromthe waist up. I liked the sax playing in this one.
I missed them too!!
He really was someone special!
Did you see " if i can dream, baby's reaction"?
So cute!
Thank you for this beautiful peace of history!💚🌞
I can see why your nephew loves him because Elvis draws you in hes for all ages
That’s right!! My nephew has good taste already! He asks to watch him!!
Dani thanks for reacting to this live Elvis performance!
A great momenr in music history. TYVMD for this TYVMT ❤️❤️❤️
This aired on my mother's 21st birthday......he performed it again in March of that year on another Stage Show episode where he's completely visible in his movements and his band members are all on camera, particularly bassist Bill Black egging things on during the performance......check that version of it out......
Love young Elvis, I think That's Alright put him on the map but Heartbreak Hotel cemented his place in rock n roll history, Thanks for this!
Just a really special person incredible Don't know if anyone else like him
Great reactions Beautiful Dani.have a great nite
you're right, this is rare - i don't think i've ever seen it. interesting to hear an orchastra behind him so early in his career
Great reaction as usual Dani and as others have stated filmed within the confines of what was available and thought best at the time. The comperes of the 6 Elvis Stage show performances, hence the sound used here (just for this show) were Tommy and Jimmy Dorsey, big band leaders since the 1930's who sadly both passed away within 16 months of this performance.
This was before The Ed Sullivan Show Dani, so Camera angle was simply the choice of the production crew.
Elvis was 21 years old here.
Awesome
Can you believe we lost Elvis at the age of only 42 I'd love to. Of met him
Unbelievable. We should have had many more years of music and performances from him
A Classic"
This show was done the day before your birthday. On the very day I was born, September 21st 1970, Elvis was in the studio recording A Whole Lotta Shakin' Going On.
Elvis had the real Midas Touch with songs!
Extremely rare Jazzy version.👍
No waste down, correct.
or even waist 😊😊
I never saw this one before and I'm 74.
To think Elvis wasn't even a millionaire at this time! Elvis was on the Dorsey Brothers show six times! On Ed Sullivan three times!
It wasn't the legs that could not be shown on TV, it was the "pelvis".
He was so great and simply the best especially with that mess of a orchestra behind playing
The band couldn’t keep up with him they was playing to a music sheet
And the band completely missed the mood of this song as captured by Elvis on his original recording. Elvis wanted to do this performance with just Scotty & Bill but he was denied and had to use the Dorsey orchestra. They were just not ready for the force known as Elvis.
YOUR SO CUTE
Can you give your reaction on Putri Ariani - I'll Never Love Again (Lady Gaga Cover) please please please you will love it

Your nephew ?
How old are you , 14 ?
A prime example of bigger isn't always better. Adding all of those corny horn swells instead of letting Scotty Moore just rip those guitar riffs was an example of musical over indulgence that Elvis would take to even bigger extremes (with a stage FULL of musicians) in his later, Las Vegas, overweight, jump suit years. That's about the same time he started kissing the same ass he used to kick. It's too bad, because when it was just Elvis, Scotty and Bill Black, it didn't get much better than that.
Peace
This was one of the weaker performances of Elvis singing Heartbreak Hotel I'm sorry to say.
He was very young and nervous. I believe it was his first time on national TV.
This never should have happened... Orchestra 🤔
second
Hehe!!
