Thank you for sharing this story. I'm Dodo, named after Dodo Saani. It's a well-known tale in Sindh, and the Soomra dynasty celebrates Mella at Rupa Marri. This story holds significant prominence in Sindhi culture, with numerous sayings associated with Dodo as well. The story remains unchanged, with perhaps minor alterations over time. Moreover, As I know bhagi was Dodo's Mother. I didnt know about the years of the story, Thanks for sharing :) :)

Thank you very much Sir for the story. Correct pronunciation of legend's name is Dudo.We have couple of kings by same name one fm Jaisalmer also.
" Nainsi Muhnot " mentions Sumra legend Dudo of your story in his book "Nainsi Muhnot ki khyat " ( About kings and legends of Rajputana).Nainsi dates him contemporary to Alluddin Khilzi. According to him Dudo died during war with Alag khan a commander of Khilzi."Rao of Kach" Evara Summa supported Dudo in this war.
Jadechas has two branches Summa and Sumra.
First of Sumra was on throne of Sindh around or just post Mahmud Ghaznavi.He had a son named Bhungar and Bhungar had Dudo.
Chanesar " Nainsi " seems omitted as he was writing lineage of Rajputs only ...

Sir, There is an alternative version also.
It is said that being eldest Chanesar was offered first, but chanesar said wait until I consult with my mother, the Council of elders decided that How could chanesar rule sindh when he consults with his mother for important decision, instead they made Dodo ruler of Sindh.
