If you wish to stay longer in KL, you may rent a room on Airbnb around for $40-50 per day or $500-600 per month. The facilities are equally as good as this hotel, but the rooms are a little smaller and no food is provided but many restaurants are under the condo.
I rented a deluxe room at Mariott for my 28th birthday for a night and it costs me around $100 and it was amazing. But that was in 2011. But say if you want to have a beach resort-style accommodation in the middle of KL, you can book a room at Villa Samadhi. It has pool-connected rooms so you can jump into the pool from the comfort of your room, whenever you wish. And at a glance, the place looked like a beach resort in Phuket. You can google it for the rates.

Of all the Marriott brands in KL the Le Meridien has the best breakfast! The Ritz (behind the Westin) is pretty good too, but Le Meridien is the best! The JW is a mad house. If you can, stay at the Ritz, it is a 5 star experience, but you'll have to call and negotiate lounge access, and put up with a dress code. But as my wife says "where else can you stay at the Ritz Carlton for $130/night?" That's the cost at a Comfort Inn in the US! 🤣

for cheaper one u can go with AirBNB with same facilities..but westin KL is marvelous with no doubt.

A suggestion, u can try to go Genting Highland by bus then cable car, Genting Highland also a good place and not so far from KL..
$500 can get you a month in a very nice high rise apt in KL with everything one would need to live. Even at $100 because of points is still not worth it.

It’s already 20 years Westin KL was established. They should give you further good rate as the deco and detail is outdated.

For 500 a night, it's pretty stiff with the ageing deco and not so attractive view...there're better options out there for that price.😅
