Belgrade is beautiful, especially in spring. I would recommend a beautiful place near Belgrade on the water called Lafayette Cuisine Cabaret, never a better time, of course, I don't know how good you are with money because it's expensive. And it would be great if you visit: Tara, Zlatibor , Kopaonik, Subotica, Nis, Golubac, there are such beautiful places, and of course Aval is close. Big post from Berlin.
Belgrade waterfront project is only like 30% done for now... It will require new bridge ( that old green one will be replaced ), destroying of central bus station and lots of new buildings... But it looks cool already 😊
Coming from Serbian...that big tower is the ugliest thing I ever saw in my life... You should visit Ada Ciganlija!! Maybe you already went there...Cheers!
I don't like that building either, such a weird shape and not even in a nice way. I can't for the life of me understand why they didn't make low level homes - maybe 3 floors max. Buildings nowadays are all glass and you can't open windows. What was wrong with the old styles that have character?
Belgrade waterfront ruins the Belgrade city skyline with its enourmous buildings namely the Tower Belgrade. I really like the Galerija and the Sava promenade though.
Fun fact Serbian mafia used the kill code "He is going to Canada" when someone is about to be killed. Since Canada is the term we associate with perfect country and therefore a kind of Heaven. So the poor man is going to Heaven lol... Cheers! Have fun! You are very nice people... no worries Serbia is super safe now... it was tough back in the 90es here.
There's actually a lot of videos now about people leaving Canada because the government has become so tyrannous, such as Adam Nucci's video: Why People Are Leaving Canada Forever | 7 Reasons To Leave Canada NOW
Nobody in Belgrade dislike Belgrade waterfront. It is continuous propaganda from few Western payed politicians and non government organisations. There are some issues but they are minor compared to gains for city. Everyone use new space and enjoy new value. It was ruins before. We, few generations citizens, always dreamed to spread our city to the rivers. It is, sort of, dream come true
Why dont you record some other part of the city? Show them real Belgrade which is dying. Oh, show the real pics. Not photoshoped. As for bgwt...money laundry and peolle who bought apparments there say the walls have holes. No sewers either. Nice.
Belgraders generally don't like the waterfront. The building are quite ugly and generally constructed of poor quality materials, they are also placed too closely together: you can see this from Savksa street. Its going to create serious problems when all of these buildings are occupied since the current roads won't be able to handle the traffic. People also don't like the lack of green spaces in the area. They have also complained of the smell of sewerage in the summertime, its sometimes unbearable when visiting Galerija, due to the fact that they are pumping directly into the Danube. A waterfront project was necessary, but they way they are doing it is wrong.
As a BG citizen, I rather see it as glass and iron place with the BG Fair being the next to disap.ar to make room for glass and iron. The good side of foreign YTers making videos is to show an impression for us locals to know what we (knowing the background) probably might avoid visiting.
Some people don't like the new modern architecture, they like garbage more, they don't understand that Belgrade is growing, expanding and consists of quarters from different periods, which only enriches the city and makes it more attractive for all tastes.
@@zoranmarkovic1123 I don't like a cheap copies and fake plants/ flowers, better make it like new Belgrade, at least it's not pretending to be something that we aren't. There is nothing glamurous and luxorious about Belgrade, we are pretty poor people trying to survive in a corupted country. We are not modern, never wanted to be so why would we have a '' modern'' architecture, shopping malls for who? we earn 400 eur in average and we don' t even have a secure work positions, we could finish on the street at any moment
The company building the Belgrade waterfront is actually the same Dubai-based company that constructed the world's tallest building, Burj Khalifa.
No its just a cover, Vučić is behind it and his criminal thugs.
This is not true, Dubai Burj Khalifa is done by Emaar, Belgrade waterfront is done by different company. Cheers

I disagree; the building has its charm and is very interesting and unique!

Please don't make that kind of comparation because it's ridiculous. Belgrade is not the worst city but it's far from Dubai.
