Awesome video! We have the SoCal Xterras/Frontiers here but we hardly have any outings. I have the 2012 Xterra PRO4x. Would have loved to joined you on that run!

This looks so fun. Nice terrain that wont destroy your truck. Those guys that go over bolders and shit and end up upside down isnt my idea of fun.

Does anyone with a modified 2012 Xtera, with 32 inch tires, no extra weight except for an ARB bumper (very heavy) know if I should be getting more than 6 miles per gallon. In the book or owners Manuel, it states that 16 mpg for city driving is normal...well my city driving gets me 6 mpg...and I'm recently tuned ,new tires although they are mud tires.

Can anyone help ease my mind about my Xterra
I have a question regarding my 2006 Nissan Xterra with the off-road package. My question is if anyone could help ease my mind I bought xtrrer with 65,000 miles on it and now it has 70,000. I know a little about the Xterra. What was done was a new radiator with the bypass and the transmission I think trans was rebuilt not 100% sure all the fluids are cleaned and as well as I did it myself a second time. If anyone can give me an honest answer here is it worth keeping my Xterra I'm hearing mixed reviews about Xterra I don't want to run into any issues down the road of this vehicle is there any other issues regarding this vehicle for the 2006 the one I have is in mint condition I'm just not sure if I want to keep it or not if there is any other problems in the future with this vehicle even with what was done in the past work. I do love driving it but I do not want to spend money in the future to fix this thing if it's going to break down. I did hear about timing tensioner that will need to be replaced around the hundred thousand miles is this a true fact? And as well if you could answer my other question about keeping it

I have 05 6sp. With 510,000 kms on it engines never been opened up still runs great, just lots of regular oil changes. Engines are built tough. No need to worry .

If you have a new rad you dont need to by pass the newer rads dont have the leaky tank issue, you get temp. Issues if you dont run the rad lines, the trans needs to warm up properly esp. In colder temp.

@@dustyroads5811 Nissan dealer service dept said its ok to run the trans bypass as long as you don't smash on the transmission before it gets warmed up. Mine has a rad bypass and has been just fine and i know a few others that also have it no problems. I do have a new rad that im going to install though.
