- On May 4th, 2024, I returned to the Valley Railroad Company/Essex Steam Train & Riverboat to attend their annual Day Out With Thomas event with Thomas and New Haven 2-8-2 Mikado 3025 (ex-China Railways SY Mikado 1658/Knox and Kane Railroad 58) handling the regular train rides on the ex-New Haven line. This would be my first time attending a Day Out With Thomas event since 2017 at the Conway Scenic Railroad, as well as my first time seeing 3025 run again since the last time I saw her was back in September 2016, so this visit was very special to me. Sadly however, I didn't get to film around the event grounds, since we had to buy tickets to enter the event, which really upset me and really pissed me off since I also wanted to see Percy and film some other stuff at the event. So we decided to make the best of a crappy situation and railfan Thomas's train instead. While my visit didn't partially go as planned, it was pretty great for my first-time chasing (part of) the Valley Railroad.
Special shoutout and thanks to Trainfan40 Productions, who I met and interacted with while I was there.
It was nice meeting you that day
Same to you!
@@DillianTrainzStudios I hope to see you at Edavillle in August
@@TrainfanProduction Don't worry, I'll be there. It depends on what day we'll be going, but I think I'll be there on the event's opening day.
Nice to hear real crossing bells rather than these electronic "chimes"
Agreed.
Soon: A Really Useful Engine In Edaville!😊
Actually, the title is gonna be "Thomas in Cranberry Country", but yeah!
@@DillianTrainzStudios K!
Nice are you there rn?
Nope, why?
@@DillianTrainzStudiosWait so did you just go for a day. I was just in CT today for a bike race.
