What an outstanding composer is Nicholas Brittell. The music that plays during the FBI's raid and the credits is one of my favourite pieces of classical music. Just conveys the sense of an almighty empire gradually decaying and then just suddenly collapsing into the abyss.
The whole scene as the FBI officers gradually fill up the frame is one of my favorite scenes. It's like an empire being raided. Top-tier cinematography.
The dark music as Shiv goes into Kendalls office is one of my favorites from the entire series.
100% agree with you but, with the normies talking all the time, they don't appreciate any score and DP shots.
I hope they tone down their voices and jokes and overlaughing during the episode. I hope they improve more specially since the great 4th season is coming.

Now that rules and regulations regarding how diamonds are harvested are getting tougher and tougher I do believe that the value increases. Especially real vs artificially made diamonds.😊
@@leahmarie112 The value of the initial sale, sure. But that's not what the conversation is about. They are talking about after you've bought it, and no diamonds don't increase in price after you've bought them/ over time.
Unless they have some sort of cultural significance that makes the history behind it one of a kind.
They simple aren't that rare, no matter how many regulations are put on them. They are just sold by cartels that artificially keep prices high.
Shiv is tough and Kendall provoked her he should have known that would happen. Tom told Greg he was meeting his lawyer friend, that was earlier in the day. When Shiv returned from the event Kendall was also at, he had just met the lawyer, it was off screen, it happened. Also as someone who has seen the show and read about it and watched the after show, you're closer than you think on some stuff.
Shiv called it with Kendall. This has been about his ego, not about the victims. He should have absolutely expected his dad and Shiv to hit him back but he’s surrounded by yes men.
The actress playing Shiv crushed this episode. The fury in her eyes was terrifying and captivating. The reason I think she’s Logan’s favorite is because she’s the only one as tough as him. Ultimately all her brothers crumble under pressure and eventually break.

I tend to agree that when Kendall isn’t working under directives set by his dad, he tends to be very self destructive. Which is super depressing because he is by far my favorite of the Roy children and maybe the show itself.

Every single aspect of this show is peak cinema.
The difference was that Kendall wasn't attacking Shiv as a person, Shiv on the other hand straight up called Kendall a bad and weak person using personal attacks in front of everyone.
The equivalent would've been if Kendall called Shiv a shit wife and cheater in public.
Also, Kendall's stunt works independent of Shiv, he could have sent the same message with literally anyone else in Shiv's shoes. Whereas Shiv's attack only works with Kendall. Shiv clearly crossed a line in this episode imo.

Logan calling Roman that slur at the end is one of the more low-key awful examples of the way logan just grinds Roman down.
The way he immediately walks it back and says he was kidding and Roman has to placate him with "Yeah, I know" reminded me of their conversation in the car after Logan hit him. Logan insults him or hits him, says he didn't mean it or was just kidding and Roman has to lie and pretend that's true. Very real depiction of those kinds of father relationships

Hey remember when Logan said "no real person involved" to Kendall regarding the waiter who died in the lake when he was sending him off to take the fall for cruises? That was the terminology they used for the people who died/were raped etc. on the cruises. That is meant to show you (and Ken) that Logan not only knew, he probably came up with the plan of action to cover it all up. That was the moment that led Kendall to do what he did at the press conference.
Everyone treated each other like shit this episode especially what shiv did but something about the way logan made fun of rom after refusing shiv's offer is so frustrating to me

Yeah, Roman had a wife and kid in the first episode, but the writers decided to scrap that part of his character immediately after. I guess they just expected us to forget about it or ignore it lol.

I don’t care what anyone else says. Shiv is the worst! She’s willing to send her own brother to jail and shoves a knife into his guts on national TV. She pimps out her husband to her father and even Rhea at one point, treating Tom like a family b-ch. She milks her position as the favorite for Gil, Logan, Kendall and then throws it in their face when the next offer comes along. She wants to run the company and yet refuses to accept personal responsibility over any of the black marks including cruises, ATN, bribing presidents, etc. It’s always just pick me because I didn’t know what they way did! 🙄She’s just unfeeling and fake and I despise her even more than Logan!
I mean I'm not a huge Shiv fan either, but saying she's worse than Logan is definitely a stretch

In terms of overall damage Logan is worse but in terms of hatability I find Shiv more hatable.
