In PS Elements, when I paste the cutout into the new photo, the cutout is huge/oversize. How do I resize the cutout into the new photo? The dropping in cut out doesn't have that sizing box around it, as in your tutorial.
Oh man... Any time magic wand isn't close enough I just manually erase or lasso. I'm extremely stubborn but tonight I'm tired and not in the mood and figured there had to be an easier way. The time I've wasted... Thank you for the concise video!
You can also hit CMD+J while it’s selected and create a layer with your subject on a transparent background. Then you can CMD+C to copy it and paste it on a different project.
Nice! But the select subject fuction doesn't select all the parts of the person in the photo on some photos that are probably a little bit more complicated. How do I select the other parts that are not in the photo? Sorry but I'm totally new to Photoshop. Just wanna use it for my CZcams thumbnails, nothing special. :))
How can Photoshop 'cut' from intricate backgrounds? It involves so many issues like colors, tones,.. And if Photoshop has to do everything, what are we for?

I’m having that same problem too. Been sitting here trying to resize it for about 10 minutes and I’m stuck!
Make sure that the Resolution (Image > Image Size) is the same for both images!
