Resistance Band Platform DIY

- The DIY resistance band platform / base for your home gym.
The H1 anchors are open on one side. This lets you hook just one side of your band or both sides, depending on the exercise or desired resistance.
Materials:
-three(3) H1 wall anchors by Anchor Gym (Anchor Gym or Amazon)
-one (1) 7/16x24x48 OSB board cut into 8x42 and 16x42
-two(2) pieces 2x4 lumber, 42" long
-yoga mat cut to 15.5"x41.5"
-door mat carpet (dollar store)
-six (6) bolts, 5/16" x 2"
-twelve(12) 5/16" washers
-six(6) 5/16" nuts
-#6 x 1-5/8" construction screws
-3/4" wood screws
-gorilla tape
-carpet tape
-wood glue

Great idea-you might think about how to build a bracket on a wall, so you could slide your board in, then have the hooks at waist or shoulder level for arm exercises.

It might be a good idea to paint the anchor top a bright color like orange or yellow for visibility/ safety reasons. Dont wanna trip on those anchors before you' re finished with a workout. This is a solid,yet nice DIY band platform that is.quite useful and not costly to make compared to the pricey manufactured ones.Thanks for the video!

It's cheaper to do it yourself. All you need is a drill and a saw. If you get the wood cut at home depot, you only need a drill. 😅

Where do you get the orange resistance band?
They are the Undersun bands. I got my set through Facebook Marketplace but you can get them on Amazon or directly from Undersun online.
I also use the loop bands from Walmart.
I wish I could build me something like this. I'm in the he process of losing #165. That would help me so much. You have two son's but they never do anything for me.
