- Checking out some of the crystals and big “yard” rocks that we’ve collected from the Wright site in Donalds, South Carolina….
This is a private location that normally serves as a goat farm, but our rock club has had a few digs there for its members, we are members of the upper abbeville gem and mineral club in Due West, South Carolina

Thanks, we’re starting to get them going all around the house, we’re always out scavenging for plants, rocks & skulls… our house didn’t have a single flower or anything planted around it when we got it so it’s one of those never ending projects with the landscaping

I can’t wait to do a video with our whole yard, I’ve been trying to go after big stuff for making flower beds, my neighbors moved & let us raid their flowers too!!! That whole area was a garage that we tore down & a driveway last year

No doubt, I definitely wish that I would have gotten into rockhounding sooner, I grew up with a ton of good stuff around, the only thing we ever really picked up as a kid in coal country were the fern fossils
Pretty sweet finds! I do the same thing. A lot of us do, I guess. I call it my overflow. Lol. As I find better quality material I rotate the lower quality material to the outside. Some of the material I can't believe I hiked out of the mountains. Oh well, it's out front now.
The chunky points on the bigger chunks are way cool!
Thanks man, yeah this place you can drive within 100 feet of the dig site, so you can leave there with your bumper dragging on the ground…
It’s crazy what people like us will drag out of the woods though, it’s funny what happens when you get in that “zone”
