5 a.m. and people up water skiing, paramotoring and base jumping. I won't even get out of bed to pee that early hahaha
The chase cam on this video is insane. Perfect cinematography.
You always manage to snag the BEST looking footage! Great pilot, great location, and a great NEW camera!
Yo Anthony
@@JimTheKid Yo Yo! How's it going dude?!
@@AnthonyVella Going great, man! Looking forward to your next upload.
Those wingovers by the cliffs remind me of a mountain rescue mission I was on 10-ish years ago in Romero Canyon, Tucson. A paraglider pilot clipped the cliff and left a trail of elbow bone fragments leading up to the crash site. My main contribution while packaging the patient for an evac by a USAF Pave Hawk was to convince the team to unwrap the lines and wing from the pilot rather than just cutting through them. The pilot was thankful, and after receiving some new metal elbow parts, both pilot and glider got to fly another day. Rock is hard -- fly safe! :)
There’s this video called “para motor accident almost ended my life” by Anthony Villa.
It was worse than the accident that you described, but the guy had an elbow injury, and it was a compound fracture. He lost some of it.
He has good footage of him, laying on the ground afterwards and getting help. It’s just so happened. One of his cameras was laying perfect to get the video.
He broke his back and neck, but there was no damage to the spinal nerves. Believe it or not Tucker got interviewed by him.
Arizona turned me into a morning person. Prior to moving here in 2005 I was never up before 9:00 am. 🌄
Now come on……….beats the crap out of NJ. And yes, just head north a bit towards Flagstaff, or really anywhere north. Love it. Great idea on the hi res too
For sure! I'll be passing through Flagstaff. Want to make it up to Salt Lake and Twin Falls.
I have to disagree, I'm sorry. I still love the videos of course, but something about those green fields and farms and trees and lakes... it all really just holds a special place in my heart compared to how Arizona is all dry and dusty all the time with nothing but rocks everywhere. I'm glad Tucker is happier where he is now, but I miss those summertime NJ flights.
@@JG124_ I understand. Many people feel that lush green is everything. It’s not. I think that you have to have lived in areas like this for a while to appreciate them. I LOVE the crystal clear air. Starry skies like you will never see “back east”. Geological features to blow your mind. And the wonderful lack of oppressing humidity. You know, it’s all a trade off. I have lived in both areas extensively and enjoyed both.
@@roadboat9216 After 40 years in Tucson, AZ I moved to the Olympic Peninsula last year and I love it here. That said, when I went back to Arizona for the winter, I appreciated more than ever how clean and beautiful the Arizona desert is. (The ground is generally small rock fragments -- it's rarely dusty or dirty except where earthmoving/farming has massively disturbed the ground.)
@@jameshoiby Yes, agree with you there. There is a protective layer or crust on the surface called the Caleche layer. If left alone it very much protects the desert. However, when it is dug up for any reason, now you do have a dust problem. But normally not. The high desert really does have beauty.
Welcome to AZ Tucker! So cool you’re here now! If you need a place to crash out west, Lake Havasu, look me up. Got a spare bedroom and/or room for your trailer and an rv hookup. Great video. 🙂
The weather here in AZ starts getting better around mid September, and by October, we have then best weather on the PLANET!!
Just 3 more months, Tucker!!
120 here in Quartzsite today
I grew up in San Diego and the Colorado River and all the scenery is amazing. The river water is warm BEFORE the dams. Have fun.
Arizona is such a beautiful state. The landscape and desert is always active with wildlife. You will have to look for those havalinas that live in the desert. Of course they have also been known to breaking people's yards. People do hunt them. I to hope someday I can retire in Arizona at least go down in the winter and come back to where I live now in the summer.
I lived in Phoenix for 13 years, I'm seeing AZ I've never seen before, beautiful.
Them’s my stomping grounds! Hike the Goldfields all the time, along with the Superstitions. I’ll keep my head up next time I’m out and hopefully see ya.
For some reason your videos of you on a paramotor just started to show on my youtube. To be honest, I never saw anyone do this before and seriously thought these were made up for cartoons that Wile E Coyote would ride to catch the roadrunner. The whole concept of a fan on a person's back and a sail above them to take them flying through the air is wild. I never seen these for real or on tv. I love your videos too and how passionate, but yet humble you are on the topic. I could not imagine the feeling of that type of freedom. Thank you for sharing your videos on youtube. Liked and subscribed. This paramotoring stuff looks awesome!
Welcome to the club! 😉
Nice flying showing us the arch!
The same type of weather as AZ. I'm in southern Utah and any outdoor activity needs to be early morning. I live the paramoter life through you Tucker. Since I can't afford one. The next best thing is to ride along on your videos. 😊 look forward to many more ride along video's from you. Stay cool and safe. 😊
100F in norcal and I’m flying. As long as the winds are light it’s fine. I think he just hasn’t gotten used to the heat yet
Welcome to Arizona! I used to live in Jackson, N.J. and currently live in Queen Creek, AZ. Reach out if you ever want to explore AZ on two wheels. I ride my motorcycle all over Arizona.
Very cool shots of the base jumpers. Great video, stay safe Tucker!
It is so beautiful out there. The way the green looks over the rocks is stunning. Awesome video.
Scenery in this video is absolutely beautiful dude. At least 2976 times more scenic than where I am. I consider myself one of your "core" channel watchers too, this footage makes me SO jelly, hahaha
I appreciate you! It is so beautiful out there.
Mornings just hit a little differently, it’s actually peaceful nowadays.. going up to flagstaff area or wherever it is you head out, enjoy and live in the moment and share that with us later. Happy trails Tuck
Great flying, & excellent footage. You are definitely one of the best pilots & videographers out there, well done.
Gorgeous scenery.
Catfished and hunted racoons at night at Sahuaro Lake, back in the day. Never new re: the arch..excellent. Thank you for the vid!
You did the thing in the canyon like you were folding laundry. I thought I was watching some RedBull insanity. Stay safe young man.
A really, wonderful, therapeutic, old-school Tucker Gott Video! What a great flight! Keep up the great work. You teach and heal and bring a smile more than you know! Thousand Thanks to you!
Thanks for sharing your talents and adventures!!
Great video Tucker, half way through it i realized this was my favorite video so far and ,IT wasn't over Yet!.
Super awesome to see the new area, flying and the jumps, what a thrilling perspective of it all.. Blue Skies !!
Hey Tucker, love seeing you fly in all these areas I know. Thanks for the fun adventure. Looking forward to your trike and camera mount ideal.
Beautiful scenery. Nice to see all that texture and wilderness within striking distance of your new abode.
Yeah, in Florida, it's in the 90s, so not too hot compared to Arizona, but what makes Florida bad is the high humidity. Makes it feel so much worse.
Nice to see the chase cam. It grabs some awesome footage. Yeah, the heat will definitely make you a morning person. Thanks for taking us along. Great flight.
Made me want to add the chase cam on my PPC again, I just don't know ow what to do with what it records!
I agree with you comment tho!
So cool. I'm from New Zealand and we have really strict aviation laws so it's much harder to get into paragliding. We have such amazing scenery. I love your trailing camera as it shows your attitude whilst combining with the area. Love watching your channel. ❤
Gotta hand it to you, you're a great producer. All of the flying and jumping provides content, but you still have to assemble all the footage into some sort of format so that it's appealing to the eyes! Thanks for that. You must enjoy that part of it. We do!
I'm definitely looking forward to footage from your travels northward.
I'd say the chase-cam is well worth the extra effort. Wow!
I have much envy of your flying. I've been following tha channel for a while. Keep it up!
Hej, Tucker. I've been around, following your journey to Arizona. It's beautiful country and todays epic flight was FULL of dimnsion - more 3D than the real world, from this viewer's perspective. I like your idea of ramping up the quality. Sometimes your audio or your voice is modulated byt the beat of the engine - makes it a little distorted and sometimes to fully understand. Though all your cameras seem pretty good, it would be great to see the Sony resolution on my screen. I love your work and the ideas. Keep Calm and Carry On.
You are the man! Excellent video.
That was an incredible video. Loved the combination GoPro helmet cam and chase cam. And thinking about all the great IG vids from your friends of your wingovers. And a bonus was to be able to find the LZ on Google Earth and know exactly where you were. The desert is such a beautiful place. So much fun. Thanks.
Tucker, I think you would really enjoy speed flying! Come out to Soboba in SoCal and tear it up!
The pain in your voice . May you continue to heal in the sky's and rest soundly at night .
5 min mark, heck yeah! That’s what I’m talking about! Magic!
I have came across 50 + bighorn sheep on top of the cliffs And a great exit 😊
5:04 what a fun playground, fantastic piloting!
I feel like that as well. The morning vs the evening vibe is totally different. Mornings I just want to cruise around and then go out for breakfast afterwards.
Hey Tucker, I live in Mesa I was born and raised in AZ. You should go up to Payson and do some flying around "The Rim" I'm sure you would get some really great footage! Just a suggestion homie! I thought it was really cool to see you move to AZ man, looking forward to your videos of you flying around my home state! Welcome to AZ man! It will cool down around October and you'll be good
Welcome back to AZ!
Same here, not a morning person but a evening one. But heat at that time in AZ it is unbearable in Summer. Great video !
Tucker, I've been flying now for 3 years because of your videos! You should come out to Endless Foot Drag this September! 😁
Paramotoring gives you freedom ..and just one mistake; it gives freedom from LIFE.
Be wise....nd if you are first learner, newbie ...always start with mojo pwr 2 .
Tucker gott'$ follower from INDIA 🎉🎉
Hey, I'm wearing your Vitruvian Paraglider tee shirt today! Sweet video, tho that narrow ravine was gnarly.
Nice!! That's a classic.
Oh wow. Fantastic everything.
Nice video, I liked it so much that I watched it twice. A beautiful area.
Hey, I have always loved your designs for your shirts! My favorite so far was the desert landscape in the goggles, but I have never gotten one of them. The reason being I'm a paraglider guy not a paramotor guy. Is there any chance of you doing a more general free flight design? Something that paraglider, paramotor, and maybe even hang glider pilots could all enjoy?
I wear them all even though I am a Free-Flight Paraglider guy myself. The Blueprint is my current favorite, though I am really enjoying the green. The quality of the fabric is great and very comfortable.
@@MarkLoves2Fly I posted this on another video and someone came up with the design of just the glider face on with different landscapes through the lines, that way it works for paraglider and paramotor pilots and I thought that idea was super cool
And I fly PPC but still enjoy the Risky shirts. I'd like to see a PPC flyer or at least a trike PPG. Maybe in the future.
Awesome video and music
You should read Ben Franklin's sayings for advice on Morning paragliding. Something like Early to bed. Early to fly. Makes a man healthy wealthy and sleepy.
I've seen you driving down Cactus Rd with your paramotor in the truck bed. Hello from Nick.
Hey Tucker, I don’t know what you mean by “Up North”. Don’t forget to see Mesa Verde, it will blow you away, I wouldn’t recommend you try to fly it in Summer, but you should see it to motivate you to get permission to fly it in Spring or Fall. You could do it in 2 days, but in your place, I’d make an expedition, take some friends (after getting permission to fly it) and cover the whole area, take a week or 2 to account for bad weather and surprise vistas opening.
Nice to see you’re moving on! 🎉
Hey I was talking about you and the paramotor bicycle experiment in a twitch live stream, and you uploaded at exactly the same time 😎✨
Fantastic video Tucker, wish to fly in the US sometime
Low and slow with the 4k camera capturing pre found awe inspiring spots?! Yes please
Try Canyon Lake, which is next in the series of lakes that include Saguaro lake, which is even more interesting and beautiful, imo. The flying and views are stunning. I had to install some tiedowns on my desk chair like a seatbelt to feel like i wouldn't fall out of my chair. Crazy stuff!
OH HELL YES!!!!!
ALL HAIL!!!!!!
Those were about the slickest wing overs I've seen on a motor. .
Almost zero margin.
SO F@CKING SICK
It’s beautiful out there!
Pretty cool, 😎 everything looks different from the air. I'd like to see you buzz tombstone! Lol
A windsock tucker? that's unheard of for you!
Great video
I love AZ!!!!
Same for me! I like flying in the evening more than mornings.
Saguaro lake, huh? Looks great, Mon frair. The next lake up is Canyon lake. We used to jump off the bridge back in the day. I'll bet it looks dope from above, bud. Keep it all the way up!
you gotta start to bless us with low winds and good weather at the closing of your video (I live in Canada)
G'day Tucker.... great chat between you and Anthony the other day....
Who’s Anthony?
@@AnthonyVella some clickbaity youtubering guy.... apparently. :P
@@robdotcom71 just checked him out. You’re totally right!
What beautiful footage! You should fly around Flagstaff or areas of Arizona that have the trees and mountains that would be pretty dope!
Great shirt Tucker, I wore mine yesterday! 🎉
Yeah, I just happen to have mine on this morning not knowing I was going to see this video. LOL Risky all the way. I don't wear is as well as Tucker does though. 🤨
I'm not a morning person either. The morning sunrise hitting those mountains was beautiful.
Looks like fun-- Just a thought on new places to fly-- a few land explorers are finding great OLD sites of 1500 year old habitations on cliff sides. might be fun to see those from more than their drone shots.
In Arizona, Lots of people will be walking in the early morning, specially on the hot stretches.
It is very unpleasant in the sun for any amount of time when doing outdoor activities.
I pick Arizona above any anyplace else though for humidity and temperature considering what it is year round
Cool to see some chase-cam footage again! :-)
So rad rippin in my backyard nearly!!!
Amazing dude
You are living my dream live
5:00 One million times cooler than corn fields
I do miss the corn fields a bit. But nothing beats the intensity of flying by a huge cliff.
When you come up north through Salt Lake and Twin Falls, etc., would you consider coming to Afton Wyoming? I think it would be an awesome place to fly a paramotor. There are some pretty calm evenings here and it is awesome scenery!
dude man looking jacked
You need a wake surfing boat to enjoy the Arizona summers correctly.
That fluorescent moss is lichen
In your travels to escape the heat, come up to my neck of the woods in the Spokane/Coeur d’Alene area.
Magic ❤
If I ever paramotor solo I’ll usually drop smoke can(s) on lz then land…always carrying an extra smokes for every landing….hopefully.
Excellent video as always. It sounds like your microphone is slightly worse than just a few videos ago. Did you change it?
5:30 AM?????? Thtas terrible!!!!! I also like better afternoon flights to end the day with a nice and chilly flight ;)
Cool coffee cup. Where'd ya find that?
Were you in the Prescott area a week or 2 ago? Thought I saw you flying.
You should start doing fly camping adventures 👍
How far back is the trail cam and what if it ever caught on something? Does it have a quick-release?
And, come into Idaho and do the Snake River Canyon @ Twin Falls, Idaho, or, better, Shoshone Falls.
Due to not being a morning person at all, I get maybe 2 flights a month around here due to it always being too windy in the evening.
Near Death experience? Rocks is solid
When you go up to Idaho, I hope you can get to go to craters of the moon national park
Hey Tucker, curious if you've heard of Jet paramotoring? I came across a video of a guy doing this under the Allen Hewitt CZcams channel.
