But there are two empty spots on my shelf: One for a medium black and silver bag and one for a very special bag with details and extras. So I made up my mind and decided to break the bank because when I get the black Side Trunk I will actually get two bags in one - nice justification, isn't it? 😅 And miraculously LV has offered me one as a special order. It will take weeks until I get my hands on it but I will. Lucky me! I am so excited and eager to see it in person...
Oh this is fantastic! I love mine and I think it’s definitely not only a special piece but also very usable and practical. I have had a lot of compliments when I have used it. It is expensive but it’s worth it if you love it. That’s amazing you get to do a special order as they are impossible to get. Let me know when you get it. Hope you love it! X

I got my first one within two weeks - but after a few days/three times of wearing it I noticed scratches all over one of the D-rings, so I exchanged the bag immediately. The LV customer service was very kind. The new Side Trunk seems to be perfect so far, but I am a bit suspicious and I will have to wear it a few times before I feel comfortable with it again... By the way, the black Side Trunk was suddenly available online from the day after I ordered it until the day I returned it, so mine was probably nor really a special order but maybe a part of restock. Now it is unavailable again. Despite these issues and suspicions I am so happy I got one and I love this bag sooo much! I think this is the most stunning version of the Side Trunk but the rest of the world seems to love the Monogram and the Monoglam versions more. Except @handbagholic maybe? 😉🤫Hope you still enjoy your Side Trunk, too! 🖤🖤🖤

Thank you for making this video. I was not interested in this color until I saw your video and also your recent photos with the other youtubers at the fendi event. I was totally hooked after seeing how good the bag looks on you. I ordered this online and I just received it today. I’ve never seen it in the boutique as it was sold out for a very long time. I saw the monogram version only. When i unbox the bag I was totally blown away and decided i must add this to my collection. Although it is very expensive and there are some minor imperfection with the bag,I still decided to keep it because it is the last one not sure and CA said not sure if they will restock the bag again. I know there will be other side trunks to be released in the coming season but i don't want to take the chance. Once again thank you for introducing this beautiful version of the side trunk.

Oh FFS, I can feel myself being ‘influenced’ 🙈. I like the black denim version but ooft… those metal corners. I do think it’s one of the latest ‘It’ bags and its light will probably fade in a couple of years but it’s such a great shape, who cares?
I recently picked up a Gucci cream trunk with silver hardware and all white corners and it is my second trunk bag. My first was anti y trunk black croc with gold from Aspinall last holiday and I was hooked. I love the trunk style. I’m kind. Of viewing trunks. Like Bumbags. I don’t know if they will ever go out of style. As for my Gucci all corners are cream and after a month there isn’t a scratch. Granted I do t through it on the floor. I hang it. This gem has be listing over the LV now! Just can’t decide mono or empreinte. I have a lot of LV empreinte but after using the Loop Hobo there is some tho g yummy about the brown and gold. I honestly think LV got it spot on with all variations of this. They are all beautiful. I wanted black as the only other cross bodies I have in black are mini bags so this is fab for me.
I have a similar black leather Side Trunk and I wear 5 times cross body and the color rub off. So u need to wear the bag cross body more and see if the color rubs off as well. I am going to see another SA, my SA is not working tomorrow. They said they would exchange other bag for me. I will avoid this kinda of leather in the future.
