farmers get a raw deal. I really appreciate your work. I try to buy local. But long life milk is easier to buy and keep. You need to form a farmers union, to counter the buyers.

But can you solve this in less than ten minutes .....?
A miller ground out 336 pound of wheat into flour .
Enough to fill 128 bags ; some were 2 (Ib) and others were 7 (Ib) bags of Flour.
How many 2 (Ib) bags and 7 (Ib) bags of Flour were filled ?
If a 2 (Ib) bag is sold for £2 each and a 7 (Ib) is £6 each; how much were all 128 bags sold for ?
If only 25% of the total selling price of the Flour was profit ( after expenses ), how much profit did the Miller have for the 336 (Ib) of Flour sold that day ?
    Regards.......Abe

Corporations are producing milk and selling lower price, putting smaller farmers out of business, later they will want to buy their land and farms, Then they will start selling the milk at a higher price again. Same for everything. UK and Ireland will also get Brexit taxes, carbon taxes and green taxes to drive the smaller farmers out of business. Taking the land and then hiring the next generation to work for the corporate farm. They will also try to take all the regular houses too and rent them back to, at the same time raising the price of property to make it unaffordable to regular people by causing a house shortage. When the supply can be over supplied or under supplied then bigger business can crush ordinary businesses and people.

Perhaps N. Ireland farmers will be able to profit from brexit they can sell goods into GB without paying tariffs. Those in the Irish Republic will have to pay tariffs.

The most of people in the UK want cheap food, they do not care how much it costs to produce or what the farmer gets. The UK after brexit could import their food from south America. After all the UK is an urban country. Showing up to a protest with a £80,000 tractor at a protest is not smart or is it just plain showing off.
