Probably the absolute best way to be an annoyance to your opponent. I do this to guys and I hear them swearing all game long. Just be sure to take short shifts so you have the power to shift to 5th when you need to.

I did the exact same thing within 2 games of watching this video last year. Thanks for the tips 247. Keeping one or two tips in mind and setting that as a goal for the game really helps (as well as practice, of course). Cheers @@CoachZac

Great tip. I sometimes think of this from the perspective of the high checker, who is counting on that back pressure, and who works into position so as to coordinate with it. Kind of like wolves funnelling prey into a kill zone.
Additionally-being from Windsor, ON- I obviously watch the Spitfires a lot in my life. Several years ago when they won the Mem cup the first time, I noticed their D were standing up a lot in the O zone. And I think, “ how can they do that, isn’t it risky?” And then you realize that they are coordinating that back pressure on an O zone turnover so that the D have a good chance to stifle their rush; and if they fail, F’s are already in a good back checking position to aid the weak side D to defend the rush-but the point is, more often than not, extended O zone time was created with this skilled and coordinated use of back pressure. It would actually be interesting to calculate how many additional goals were scored as a result of that extended O zone time, so again, this is a great tip.

Dudes make horrible decisions when you put apply back pressure. Ive had it turned over in the slot with a panic muffin right to me!😂
