Our election tour headed to Downham Market in South West Norfolk to ask Liz Truss's constituents why they always supported her in this safe Conservative seat. It didn't turn out like that. It was market town in the picturesque town, but we couldn't find anybody willing to go on camera to say they would be voting for the former prime minister. Many felt she should have decided to walk away at this general election after her record-breaking short spell in Downing Street.
Even die-hard Tories said that they thought she's is pushing people's patience, but will this frustration really lead to a 26k+ majority being overturned on July 4.

Lowest child poverty since the war. Lowest homeless numbers since the 80s. Highest living standards since the war. The number of times I have been hearing Labour aren't very good with money. From people who should be able to think for themselves but are still spouting the rubbish from their parents and Grandparents who have only ever voted Tory. I live local to Downham Market, but I’m not in that constituency. It’s definitely a Tory constituency and James Bagge is a Tory, but having to stand as an independent. Word on the ground is that he has a lot of support. If he wins, he will most likely stand as the Tory candidate at the election following this one. His reason for standing: to get rid of Liz Truss.

If Truss does lose her seat, I predict that she will make an attempt to join the Reform party. Unless of course, Sunak nominates her for a peerage in his outgoing honours list that every Prime Minister can do. Something else I feel that should be abolished. I am not so confident that she will actually lose her seat as whilst a lot of people will consider her utterly useless and wish it were someone else standing, they will still vote Conservative. Hopefully, I'm wrong on that.
