the doxing situation happened because patreon cc creators were keeping their cc behind a pay wall longer than the time limit EA allows, so this led to people on twitter buying the subscription to upload all their content on reddit, which led to the creator doxing them. super weird 😂
ohhh okay that makes sense. still an insane situation all around. nobody needs to keep their cc behind a paywall for longer than a month

Sims 4 is the most controversial installment of the entire franchise and I'm really surprised that it still has some loyal (or I dare to say even brainwashed) fanbase that's ready to pay for anything EA comes up with despite all of these issues. Each to their own but it's truly boggling me.
Cool video, my only complaint is that the music is a bit too loud and distracting from your voice.
i love the sims series so i was so disappointed when ts4 came out. its fanbase will always confuse me.

And like mf those people are wild, like you say that you didn't like the bloody game and the next day you woke up with your social media full of people calling you homophobic racist white supremacists and I know they do that because that happened to another Sims CZcamsr because he was honest and instead of sucking EA conck he called out to them for being lazy pieces of poop that release content that's broken and uninspired (and holy Jesus I didn't meant for this to be so long ╏ ” ⊚ ͟ʖ ⊚ ” ╏ )

Fixed Wedding Stories. Ha! No, it isn't fixed. I literally only use the CAS stuff in that pack, and I go to one lot in the world because I can fish to get dragonfruit there.

As someone who plays the Sims 4 i will say i hate the game a lot it sucks that i can't play a sims 3 on Xbox one but I don't understand why people don't boycott the game and stop buying packs because I am only to buy certain packs and i am opting out of certain expansion packs, game packs, and stuff packs.
it's the best way forward! ea can only continue doing this if people continue buying the game

I thought the "playtesters? never heard of her" controversy was related to the release of High School Years, where people went through the credits and found like 6 playtesters, versus the 30+ in earlier packs like City Living. And it shows!
Personally I don't mind pack refreshes, and to a degree they make sense. The game is a decade old, and there's also new packs and content being added all the time. Imagine them going back through old packs and adding new cross pack gameplay, or features for toddlers and infants! But of course they'll never do that, because Spa Day did not make them enough money with the refresh, so the pack refreshes are dead forever 🥲
god ea is just so... interesting as a company. i chose the worst case for the game breakage because i don't think that's ever happened before. like the game just corrupts when u play it as intended!? INSANITY
oh yeah the playtester thing is crazy. according to satch on sims they outsource their playtesting to other countries which is super scummy.
pack refreshes are a neat idea but i simply don't think they should exist. sims 3 packs don't need refreshes cause they were really good at launch.
